So, on the advice of those who had previously rested in this place, we headed to the new Grand Rotana Resort end SPA hotel. This chain five-star hotel is located on the edge of Sharks Bay, very close to my first Egyptian hotel Sultan Garden (Holiday Inn).

And on the other hand, they went through acclimatization and then withstood THIS - Moscow smog, heat in the absence of the sea.
Let's return, however, to rest. I do not recommend anyone to rest in this heat. !! ! The situation was quite definite - air conditioning and then a short dash to the sea, after the sea again under artificial cold. In the evening and at night there was no escape. The air was warm-hot and hugging like a suffocating pillow + And I love sleeping with the window open : (
All very nice and advertised places for hotels: cafes, tents, etc. were simply not available for us - there was no air conditioning there !!!
For the first week, it felt like we were alone in the hotel. And this was not far from the truth: in the huge building No. 2 (the closest building by the sea), there was NO ONE except us. However, a week later, visual and auditory entertainment appeared. It was from that time that everything began to annoy us slowly (which had never happened during my previous 6 trips).
The Arab families came. From Saudi Arabia. 5 or more children in each family. Children are always mobile and cheerful and, of course, they chose places with air conditioning for fun, but there are not enough such places. In the main building, instead of elevators, there are escalators familiar from childhood. Lovely children successfully mastered them. Little Arab girls are dressed up like princesses, they all have long, beautiful, well-groomed hair, boys are cut short, dads are quite civilized - shorts or sports trousers, sandals. And here are their women. In such heat, they are dressed in black thick clothes, black slippers, many are completely covered from head to toe. A few of them decide to plunge into the water, and at the same time, be sure to hold on to their husband's hand. Many bathe in the same clothes, advanced ones in special bathing suits. Women's Arab swimsuits are similar to a scuba diver's suit.

We were on HB, ie breakfast and dinner. It was quite enough, given that they took fruits and yogurts to the room and drank tea before dinner (brought with them).
On the day of arrival, there was free water in the room (1.5 l), then I agreed with the merchant at the hotel, who secretly from the owner brought us water for 3 pounds from the Old City. On my own, I once went to the Old City. Water in the Old City costs 1.5 pounds for 1.5 liters for its own people, for tourists it will be sold for only 3. And in a hotel for 18! And if our Russian heart somehow reconciles with the restaurant markup on wines, then the water markup is perceived as predatory.
ENTERTAINMENT: this is going to a restaurant and eating.
In the evening - broadcast of classical operas on the big screen in the open air. Belly dance in a cafe with hookahs in the open air (withstood 35 minutes) AND EVERYTHING!! !
