We drove with such a joyful mood!! ! (We were in Egypt for the 1st time, and unfortunately, probably the last). No, I'm not a pessimist, I'm not a bore. On the contrary, I try to see something positive in every negative. But in this case, I was disappointed.

Our hotel was the third in the delivery (1st Tropicana, 2nd Savoy). And when we got to it, we were already unpleasantly surprised. The fact that the hotel is on the second coastline is not scary, but the fact that there was a lot of garbage next to the hotel, and the fact that no one came out to meet us (in the sense of porters) was unpleasantly surprised. Opposite our hotel - 2 unfinished hotels. And further - a desert with a local airport, a barrier in the middle of the desert, and all the same garbage. And also (as we later learned) at night sewer waste (such as sewers) is brought to this area and all this g ...pours right on the road into the sand (in the evening you can smell a smell if you go from the beach).

In general, the suitcase again had to be dragged to the threshold of the hotel (as the representative of ANEX said) But even there I did not observe the eagerness of the porters to earn money. The only plus is that we were fed (although we arrived at 11 pm and dinner until 10 pm). After dinner, we were taken to our room (not disgusting, but wishing for the best). The bed was rumpled and all grey. But we were tired and wanted to sleep. We didn’t have to sleep, because at 12-00 we went to bed, and at 1 o’clock in the morning the phone rang and they began to ask me in English (name, how I feel, etc. ), and in the end I was persistently invited to "drink". And so it was repeated every 1.5 - 2 hours in different voices ...The last call was at 5 am.

In the morning, according to the schedule, we were supposed to have a meeting with a representative of ANEX (at 9-00). We waited until 10 o'clock. We didn't meet anyone. I had to call Anex's office, spend 2 dollars on it and find out that the representative would be at 14:00. The day turned out to be ruined, because
all day we waited for ANEX and did not see the sea. I had to sit by the pool. And near the pools - only Arab families with women in veils, headscarves, etc. Well, men, of course, with eyes that eat you. You feel very uncomfortable with this whole environment. By the way, the majority of Arabs in this hotel. They even have their own territory in the hotel, a kind of mini-town, where the paths are lined with mosaics, where there are practically no one-room rooms, where there is a playground, etc. Other nations do not live in this town and rarely go there. In general, Russians in this hotel are treated as second-class people. they don’t consider it shameful to take a table in a restaurant if you just smoke a hookah. And you, like a fool, are sitting on a chair with a hookah nearby on the floor ....This is disgusting!!!

The only consolation is that the hotel has VERY (!!! ) good staff (in the restaurant - dining room, in bars, near the pools).
Everyone is very friendly, smiling, humorous, hardworking, attentive, they did not pay attention to the fact that we take sweets and fruits with us (as happens in other hotels).

But the cleaners and porters, as well as managers at the reception - not very much. The cleaners do not report soap, shampoo, they take 4 towels, but put 2. I did not wait for swans from towels (although I regularly left a tip of at least 2 pounds and once 1 dollar) ...Alas. The bed also does not change (and if it does, then the same one). Once I left a tip in the amount of 1 pound to the cleaner, so he did not take it (although he cleaned the room).

They constantly carried all photo and video equipment, documents and money with them, because many people lost money from the safes in the rooms (100-150 dollars in small bills). We decided not to risk it.
At the reception, if they are talking to a Russian and at that time an Arab comes up to ask something, then they leave the Russian and do not pay attention until they say goodbye to the Arab. Like this!

after a day of our stay at the hotel, I changed the room for a magical $ 10 to a decent, large, bright, with new and clean plumbing, pool view room). After the move, the calls stopped at night. And on the last night, local mosquitoes simply did not let us sleep! It was St. Bartholomew's night! I came home in such a state as if I had escaped from a skin dispensary (they have mosquitoes not like ours)! Horror!!!

The food was quite varied and quite tasty. But there are very few fruits!

According to ANEX, a separate conversation.
Prices for excursions are stunning (even TEZTUR is cheaper! ). We took one excursion on a boat with a transparent bottom. Russian guide ni be ni me.
He left us near this boat while other tour operators tried to get better places for theirs. He didn’t tell us anything, didn’t show anything ...And all the time he offered to buy Coca-Cola (for our money, of course), although when buying an excursion it was said that soft drinks were included in the price.
This was the first and last excursion with ANEX.

We took the second excursion in Naama - history repeated itself, although they promised and swore that there would be a Russian-speaking guide (all tourists were Russian). Thanks to information from the Internet, I conducted a tour of Ras Mohamed for people in our group (it was just a pity for them), and I overheard something in other English-speaking groups. In the evening we called this travel agency and they promised to give a good guide the next day (our friends were driving there too). In fairness, it can be noted - that's how it was, the guide was good (but not with us anymore).

The beach at the hotel is far away (15 minutes drive), buses run every hour, and the beach is disgusting - a dirty puddle. So we went to the beach in Sharm Bake. The sea is great! Indescribable beauty! But the beach itself is poor, and even they are trying to cheat at the entrance. If they see that you are the first time and do not behave very confidently, they sell you an entrance ticket for $ 4 (the beach is free) and the police agree. We did not buy, came in half an hour and passed without problems, but we saw how many people pay. On this beach, you have to buy water, etc. , you also take your own towels, but you enjoy the sea! The road to the beach is about 1 km long, so we took a taxi (for $ 1 we drove at least two, at least four).
Unfortunately, my story dragged on, and I will continue it tomorrow. I can't tell. You should know it! And I'll be sure to attach a photo.
