I had a rest before that in Radisson Blu 5 * (2 months earlier). I want to note right away that despite the 4 * Gafy, I liked this hotel much more. All my review will be based on comparison. Yes, the hotel is small, but very comfortable and homely. The beach is something, especially for small children: sandy entry, protection from the wind (Naama Bay). Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas.
Food: not much, but I remember a huge assortment of Radisson, but they still ate the same thing. Also in Gafy, they chose what suits the stomach and ate with it. It should be noted that the hotels in Egypt frankly tasteless. -4 kg in 10 days is my result.
Alcohol: local production in plastic cups. As elsewhere in Egypt.
Animation Entertainment: to be honest, it's not even the second, but the third grade. The animator girl from Belarus (I don’t remember her name) is very arrogant and, in my opinion, considers herself at least the hostess of the hotel. The two Egyptian guys are very funny, but either they are new to animation, or they are simply not talented, they know the program at "2". In recent days, a newcomer Dina (Egyptian) came and liked it the most: always friendly, finds a common language with children.
Staff: friendly and smiling, no comments.
Room: small, but very clean and comfortable.
Location: I read in the reviews that Naama Bay is 5 minutes by minibus, probably very slow. It's a 10 minute slow walk there. The location is very good, close to the center. But... do you need that center (an ordinary pedestrian street with a lot of shops and cafes).
