In this review, I will try to touch on those points that were not covered in previous reviews. We returned from this hotel on August 11th. We arrived early in the morning at 6-7 in the morning and we were immediately given a room, and the bracelets were put on at 12. The chandelier did not work in our room (it did not cool the air) and after several trips to the reception we were moved (at no extra charge) to a much better room for 2- th floor with a newer chandelier and a cool sea view (photo attached).
I just want to talk about the sea. The hotel is located on a small cape, so very often the beach is blown by strong winds, there is a wave on the sea and often there is a strong current. During our holiday, the beach, thank God, was never closed, but in early spring / late autumn and winter I would not dare to go to this hotel (of course, if the sea is a priority for you). Of all the hotels in this area, Tiran is perhaps the most windy and stormy. In the summer this is certainly not a problem. Entry into the sea only from the pontoon. The coast is rocky and there is simply no approach from the coast. The reef did not impress with its beauty, although now dead corals are a problem in almost all of Sharm. There were fish, not as many as before, but there were also eagle rays and moray eels, etc.
The beach is large, there were enough sunbeds for everyone, although half of them were apparently removed for quarantine reasons. The hotel was well booked, but most of the guests were Egyptians. There must have been no more than 50 of us. But now this situation is probably in most hotels in Sharm, because. there are no charters from Europe, the locals said that only Ukraine and Belarus fly. Next to us was the Sunrise Arabeyan hotel (the hotel is not at all cheap), but judging by the contingent on their pontoon, most of them were also Egyptians.

I really liked the food at the hotel (considering that it is not expensive). For lunch there were always 2 kinds of meat, for dinner 3 kinds. Every day for dinner on the street they cooked meat on the grill, baked cakes right in front of us in the oven. Fruits were melon and watermelon. Of course, there were also vegetables of various preparations, the sweets were delicious (although I don’t have a sweet tooth at all and usually don’t take sweets, but even I liked some here). Forks, knives, spoons were plastic, in sealed bags. Also, at the entrance to the restaurant for lunch, everyone's temperature was measured and recorded in a journal. One girl got burned in the sun and she has a pace. was 37 degrees. She was told about it, but thank God, that was it. Otherwise, everything in the restaurant was as before - a buffet, everyone took it themselves, as before, only the chefs gave out the meat at the counters, but this did not create problems, it was possible to approach several times.
Near the hotel there is a street with shops and 2 pharmacies. There is almost everything - fruits, bags, T-shirts, sweets, everything for swimming, etc. The prices are almost the same as at the Old Market, given that there were few tourists, the prices were not raised. We went to George Clooney's store in Nabq. We contacted them via viber and they provided a free transfer from the hotel and back. Prices and assortment there were almost the same as near the hotel. I only bought fresh mango and guava. But I want to warn you - if the refrigerator in your room is slightly cold, then the mango juice starts to ferment, but absolutely nothing happened to the guava.
Excursions guide from Joyne up offered only by boat and quad bikes. Said everything else was off limits, including diving. But in our hotel on the beach they offered scuba diving. Wifi at the reception worked with varying degrees of success. If you need good internet, then you can buy a SIM card either at the airport upon arrival (there are counters of three operators there) or there was a vodafone sign on the shopping street next to the hotels.
