This is our 12th trip to Egypt, and the most successful in terms of the number of meetings with the inhabitants of the sea. We saw a five-meter shark, a whale shark, a “real” shark, groups of eagle rays, a huge bottom ray, Napoleons swim several at once, gorgeous reefs, the ability to swim in the lagoon along the inner wall of the reef. Great places for those who like to snorkel in the warm season.
The hotel itself is not very good, economy class. Economy, especially in food. Meat and chicken dishes are in short supply. Fish is a trifle with a head or fattyly cooked in batter. Vegetarian stew is often served half-baked. On the fifth day, I realized that I did not want to eat carrots anymore. On the sixth day, the smell of meat dishes that were cooked in the neighboring five caused a slight envy...
The hotel is divided into the first and second line. Restaurant and most of the hotel on the second line. This is a cheap hotel in a good location. Hotels on the left are very expensive - Baron and former Imperial. The hotels on the right are more affordable, but noticeably more expensive.

I bought the “Beach Front” room in advance at a travel agency, “Beach Front” is 7 thousand more expensive than the standard and more expensive than the “sea view” room. The room manager asked if we would like a room with a sea view at an additional cost. I said that I already have a “scourge front”. We were put in a car and taken to our room. The room was bad - small, far from the sea, the sea is not visible, next to the road (that is, they specifically gave the most disgusting room that was, although the hotel was not in the foot and the rooms were). I walked through the 40 degree heat (although it was evening) and went to look for the reception (the porter with the typewriter had long since disappeared). I told the front desk that we didn't like the room. The manager listened and was silent for a long time, then another manager came (probably more senior) and I told him about my problem. He said yes, fine, and began to pretend to notice me. Then there were people who started complaining about the poor cleaning of the room, people who wanted to order a taxi, and both managers began to deal with these people slowly and deliberately SPECIFICALLY making me wait. Then the room was still given a normal one, at no extra charge, not on the first line, but on the fourth, but the room is good, large, clean, with a view of the sea. A young man who came on the same race with us also got the worst number (he had bought a standard), he was offered to pay $ 40, but he bargained for 15 and moved to a room on the road (that is, a room formally called beach front) .
Room cleaning was good, linen and towels were clean and changed regularly.
This hotel has a nice beach. Lots of sand. The sand is probably bulk, as the sand on the beaches of neighboring hotels is worse.
There is little greenery in the hotel. The grass, despite the increased watering, is hopelessly dried up in places. If you want to admire the greenery and expensive hotels, then the entrance to the territory of the Baron and the next hotel is allowed, you can walk around their territory, there are no problems with greenery.
Yes, I almost forgot to write. I think that the hotel is suitable for relaxation only during the warm season - from May to the end of October. The terrain is such that in the cold season there will definitely be winds. We rested in November in Melia Sinai - the wind started right after the cape (between the hotels Melia Sinai and Melia Sharm).
Unfortunately, I can't add photos to this resource. About two years ago, the form for adding photos changed, and no matter how many times I try, I can’t add photos. I have photos, how do I add them?
