To all readers, good afternoon.
Still, there is a lot of positive in spontaneous travel; -) Quite unexpectedly, right on the eve of the New Year, the idea suddenly arose to go with a warm company for all the New Year holidays somewhere by the sea. The idea was appreciated, approved, and decided to implement it immediately; At first, the United Arab Emirates or China were considered, but there was a threat of being late due to obtaining a visa, and therefore, in order to prevent the disruption of the holiday, Egypt was chosen. In Egypt, all the desired hotels (really wanted in Magic Life, Baron or Concord) were "on the foot" (after all, there was too little time left before the New Year); of those in which there were places, T-Continental Garden Reef 5 * was chosen, which will be discussed.

1. Hotel

In general, the territory of the hotel makes a good impression (all the photos that you saw on his website are true); the architectural landscape is very interesting: the hotel cascades down to the sea, consists of 5 levels and 6 lines of 2-storey bungalows (of which - from levels 1 to 4 with sea views, lines 5 and 6 are standard rooms. The furthest from the sea is 6 line - at the upper pool). The cases are nice, white, the cascade twines beautiful stairs. What pleasantly surprised - the ascent and descent from the 1st to the 5th levels is carried out on elevators, of which there are 4 pieces. Who wants to - can walk up the stairs, and who saves his strength for other feats, you can go up / down to the desired level on the elevator with a transparent back wall, contemplating the sea surface. The hotel has 2 large swimming pools (upper and lower; lower - heated). The general minus of the whole territory is dirty ...
The paths are badly swept, ancient cigarette butts and dry leaves are lying around, only large debris is cleaned out of ashtrays with sand, and even then irregularly.

2. Numbers
The rooms, in general, are not bad - spacious, all with good balconies. The furniture just let us down - a little old, and clearly needs to be replaced. The room has: TV, normal air conditioning, hair dryer and safe, non-alcoholic minibar - refrigerator (filled free of charge once upon arrival - cola, juice and a bottle of water), combined bathroom. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily.

3. Beach and sea.
The beach is private, sandy, spacious, relatively clean. There are enough sun loungers, but in order to take places exactly where you want, you will have to appear early. Appear later - there will be places, but far from the pontoon and obviously not on the first line. The beach is divided into 2 parts: the upper, next to the fish restaurant, (the so-called "relax"), and the lower, "general".
The difference between these two parts is that in the "relax" zone, animators will not pester you with an offer to go for exercises or play bocha. The beach has a bar, changing cabins, toilets and a towel point (the second point is located by the pool). This hotel also adopted a completely idiotic system of issuing towels for the record: you give cards, and the Arab writes down your room number and the number of towels issued in a notebook ...Thus, having received a towel by the pool, you will not be able to return it on the beach ...Why such opuses - I can not understand in any way ...
You can swim by walking along a not too long pontoon of the "drunken path" class, the descent into the water is convenient. Right next to the pontoon, a beautiful coral reef begins, where you will see live corals of various colors, and a very large number of different fish. The reef is so beautiful that yachts with divers from other hotels sail to it.

On the shore you will see a diving center, with the inhabitants of which you can agree on any kind of entertainment: "tablet", "banana", parachute, diving, etc.

4. Animation.
There are a lot of animators, they work quite decently. They appear on the beach from 10 in the morning, and immediately begin to disturb the vacationers: they say, enough sleep, let's quickly go to exercise! play bocha! throw darts! to volleyball! to water aerobics! Some of these constant calls are annoying. There are no colorful evening performances; as a rule, from 21:30 to 22:00 animators entertain children, then the disco begins. Disco - so-so, nothing special.

5 Nutrition.
The food barely reaches the level of a 4 * hotel ...I can’t say that the food is tasteless - everything seems to be fine with taste, But - it just kills the monotony of the menu ...Every day the same dishes are unbearable!
There are no fresh juices; and in general there are no juices, but soft drinks "yupi" in a limited assortment and with a taste of "pull out your eye" were very surprised and strained at the same time. A very limited assortment of fruits, sweet desserts did not impress. What at least somehow pleased was the dishes from the grill, which are cooked on the open terrace of the restaurant.

A very funny picture of ice cream...In theory, it is included in the menu for lunch and dinner, but...it is not in the public domain...How to get it? If you stand facing the tables with dishes, on your right hand there will be an Arab who is preparing pasta. This Arab is not simple - he also manages ice cream, which he gives you on demand with a very dissatisfied expression on his face in between cooking the said pasta.

In general, the entire (! ) hotel is characterized by disgusting service! In a restaurant, soiled tablecloths are changed very reluctantly, cutlery - you can’t wait.

If you are a smoker and prefer to dine outdoors, then on the veranda you will very soon get a firm conviction that the most valuable and rare thing in a hotel is an ashtray! There are never any ashtrays on the tables; you have to beg for them from pasties with trays passing by. Chebureks are very reluctant to bring them from somewhere, as a rule, dirty and split.

Tea and coffee are extremely disgusting in the restaurant: there is a table with teapots of 2.5 liters each with a burda of the following recipe: for 1 teapot - 3 bags of Lipton tea or 3 bags of cheap instant Nescafe. The taste - you know, not ice ...

A very meager assortment of dishes for breakfast ...For example, I used to eat something meat in the morning (ham, or at least sausage), but here every day the mood was spoiled by the absence of the above. There were some sausages, but they tasted like cardboard, and nothing more ...
About 40% are Ukrainians, about 30% are Russians, 10% are Armenians, Georgians, Azerbaijanis, the remaining 20% are Germans, Italians and others. During the stay, there was no noise, fights or scandals; the bulk of the people complacently rest and relax.

In general, I rate the rest at the hotel as "more or less normal", nothing more. Who would I advise to go to the hotel? Probably no one. You should not pay money for 5 * where they are not. There are more decent places where I wish everyone reading this review to go.

Sincerely, Alexander

P. S. As always, I will be happy to answer any questions regarding the hotel, so if you have any, do not hesitate to ask.
