I am writing on fresh tracks - literally 2 days ago we returned from this hotel. Traveled with kids 2 and 4 years old. In Egypt 4 times. My husband had previously been in this hotel for a conference and he really liked it. When the hotel was confirmed, I decided to read reviews about the hotel and almost got a heart attack - queues, dirty dishes, pools do not heat, resettlement at a construction site, etc.
My opinion - Pyramisa - GOOD HOTEL! Normal Egyptian five!
Of all the fears that I read about, nothing was confirmed, except for the pools - yes, indeed, they have been heated only since December. This is the only negative I would give the hotel. The pools are excellent: large, very clean, constantly filtered, do not stink of bleach, different in depth and comfortable at the entrance to the water. In one of the pools there are two slides - good for both adults and children. There are two waterfalls and an artificial river 90 cm deep with a current. They give out big circles and swim as much as you want. When we rested, the water temperature in them was about 19-20 degrees, but this did not prevent us from riding slides and swimming in the river. Of course, we did not let children into the children's pool with slides and waterfalls (octopus).

The hotel area is very nice - green, clean, everything is close: the sea, and bars, and restaurants. Excellent gym, tennis court, normal playground. A very beautiful building with a lobby, reception, a la carte, etc.
A separate pleasure is the sea - just super! The hotel is located in a natural lagoon: the sea is almost perfectly calm and there is almost no wind! On the way to the hotel, we stopped at Azur Citadel - an excellent hotel, but they had a red flag, and in Pyramis it was almost calm. This is a huge plus of the hotel when relaxing in late autumn and winter. The water in the sea is clean, there are a lot of different fish. The only thing - it's better to go in slippers, because. entrance to the water - sand mixed with hewn coral. If you swim immediately to the depth - you can do it without anything, if you sour with children waist-deep - better in slippers. The sand is not yellow, but white, it is very pleasant to walk along the surf. The beach is wide and long, there were enough places for everyone, there were always free sunbeds. We came to the beach at 8 and occupied, if not 1, then 2 row.
The food is Egyptian, of course, but it's normal, there's plenty of it, it's fresh. Nothing poisoned, no one was hungry. Always fish, beef (by the way, quite edible), chicken. There were mussels, shrimps, liver. Sea pastries and desserts. There are enough fruits, take out as much as you want: melon, grapefruit, oranges, tangerines, guava, persimmons, apples, bananas. As for the queues - I saw them 1 time at dinner. They said that the hotel stood on its feet for several days - there really were a lot of people. But two days later the people dispersed and there were plenty of empty seats. There were always enough dishes and there were no complaints about cleanliness. On the account of pouring drinks into plastic dishes in a restaurant: wine is poured into glass goblets, beer - into large rigid plastic glasses. All beer is bottled, poured in front of you. Coffee was both brewed and dry in cans, tea of .5-6 types, an espresso machine, cappuccino, etc.
The rooms are ordinary, cleaning is normal, bedding and towels - too. The staff is friendly. Every day our cleaner made new figurines from towels and flowers for children - elephant, crocodile, snake, swans, crayfish, flowers, boats, little men, etc. The children were delighted.

There is one nuance regarding resettlement: Teztour buys rooms for a construction site - this is true. Firstly, the construction is quiet, and secondly, there are exchange options: official - 20 dollars. per day, unofficial - how lucky - or immediately 20 dollars. in the passport, or ask very much and smile, or settle where they will settle, and after a few days ask to be relocated. If you are not satisfied with any of the options, immediately buy a sea view (pool view) from the tour operator so as not to be nervous.
The hotel is not noisy, not partyy, but with children or just to have a good and calm rest - that's it. Along the coast there is an excellent promenade for walking. Very beautiful apartments, shopping centers, casinos are being built. Everything is very well lit, there is a beautiful bridge - a pier with an observation deck and benches for rest. In the near future, Sahl Hasheesh will become an elite recreational area with a developed shopping and entertainment infrastructure. Have a good rest everyone.
