I must say right away - I am not a diver, but I can afford to swim for hours with a mask-snorkel-fins to admire the underwater world. I was lured to this hotel by a large company of divers, who are not here for the first time. And since I needed to rest, I accepted their invitation. In general, I did not regret it and I liked the hotel (perhaps because of my unpretentiousness). Interestingly decorated rooms, a good restaurant with typical Egyptian cuisine (but not monotonous), friendly staff. The design of the hotel on a solid 4: as for me, a little bit of greenery (especially after the Hayatt Regency Taba) and the pools (there are 3 of them) were a bit cool. The only drawback of the hotel is the lack of a normal entrance to the water on the beach: there is neither a pontoon nor a path cleared of corals that would lead to a place where you can already swim. Because the reef near the beach is gorgeous, with depths of 10 m and deeper, but it’s difficult to get there on foot (without coral slippers at all), and at low tides (they were significant), it was a bit daunting to swim under the threat of catching your chest or stomach on corals and sponges. Here is the only downside.
But in general, this does not spoil the idea of ​ ​ u200bu200bthe hotel. The hotel was mostly Europeans (French, Dutch), so there were no noisy sprees. In general, the hotel is quite suitable for those who decide to have a QUIET and QUIET rest (this is definitely not Sharm and not Hurghada). And do not forget that this is primarily a diving hotel - it is primarily focused on this category of tourists (although everyone else felt no worse).
From the hotel to the port part, where shops and cafes with free WiFi (Grand Cafe) are concentrated, a free water taxi (boat) runs until late at night, which, if necessary, carries even one person)))).
