Rested in Cupid in Marsa Alam at the end of November. Was in Egypt for the first time and did not expect this from a 4 star hotel. I didn’t understand if this hotel is new or not - it looks shabby from a close distance, and we were told that it was 3 years old. At the same time, next to the building that we lived in, there is another unfinished building.

They fed us terribly - so that the stomach was constantly upset, and it was difficult to choose something edible or tasty from the food. Therefore, who wants to lose weight - go to Cupid, you will definitely lose weight!
In the rooms of the vacationers, either the safe or the air conditioner, or something else, was broken. Because of this, many moved several times from room to room. We had mosquitoes, and for those who were unlucky, mice also dropped in!
Therefore, at the end of my 10-day stay at the hotel, 3 people remained (along with me) and with it the buffet disappeared, but the food became a little better.
Advice to those who are going to Cupid - people, do not do this if you are not going to spoil your vacation, it's better to pay a little extra and go to the neighboring ones - Cataract 4 * or Kahramana Marsa Alam 5 *.
But if, after all, the ticket has already been bought, you can go into the sea either at the neighboring Italian hotel "Blue Reef", but this is a long time and if big waves can be scratched on the reefs, or better - from the free pier of the Cataract 4 * hotel. And at the latter I met a couple of times a couple of dolphins, barracudas, a turtle in the distance, and closer to the shore - a stingray.

Hello everybody! Came to this hotel with my husband and were amazed by him, especially by the staff for the worse!!! ! Rested in November 2010. Disadvantages: 1. Service, there is none at all, the staff is smoky, the administrator of the "hotel" (if you can call it that "hotel") understands Russian very well, but pretends not to understand anything, and constantly listens to what Russians say, but Russians ours are dissatisfied with the hotel and they tell him about it, what money is paid for?!!! ! And what does the administrator do at the same time, a whole theater opens before us, some Italian arrives for a couple of hours and says that he is the owner of the hotel, everyone starts fussing and in the restaurant-dining room they decide to lay tablecloths on the tables and do something for the sake of appearance .

Hello everybody!
Came to this hotel with my husband and were amazed by him, especially by the staff for the worse!!! ! Rested in November 2010.
Disadvantages:
2. Drinking water in the cooler drawn from the tap.
3. The food is expired, but I had to eat at least something, my husband found a pebble in the food, and I found a piece of a plastic bag in a potato.
4. Restaurant, this is an ordinary dining room, and then they feed better in the dining room, cockroaches crawl in the room, they are so big !!!!!!!! ! Well, I'm already used to lizards, flies in the dining room-restaurant, mosquitoes in the room. One evening my husband and I came alone to the dining room, no one wanted to go there.
5. In general, the hotel looks amazing in the photos!!! ! But in life, everything is not so, it is not completed, and is still falling apart, cracks on the walls. On the official website of the hotel, two photos posted on the Internet are not from this hotel! On some sites, and large travel companies, I will not say which it is written that it is not far to go from Hurghada, but in fact 4 hours!
6. The pool, it is not cleaned, I have never seen in all 7 days of my stay there, but I saw a crushed large cockroach near the pool, which I was told was caught from the pool.
7. Guide, well, this is generally the most interesting thing, my husband went to meet him at the first meeting, but I never saw him, they say he was hiding from tourists, my husband told me that the guide yells at everyone thereby manipulating, forced to take excursions, but we decided not to go, I saw what kind of transport people went on excursions, they were ordinary white minibuses, but in principle this should not be, people taking excursions should ride buses from a tour operator.
8. The sea, the Red Sea is beautiful, but you have to walk a lot to reach normal depth, there is a pier, but it is not a hotel.
In general, there are a lot of interesting things and you can write about this hotel all the time shortcomings, but we were always looking for pluses at least something to please ourselves.
Dear managers who sell vouchers for this hotel, I understand perfectly well that your company must be protected and defended from annoying tourists, well, if you are in our place, then remember us and our words! There is nothing to eat! People are hungry! If you haven't been there, don't suggest going there!

Hello to everyone who still decided to go to this hotel despite the terrible reviews. For us, this hotel was just the opposite, more than not bad. Maybe because there were no mice or cockroaches in our room, or maybe because we arrived at a completely empty hotel, where, apart from the staff, there was not a single living soul, or maybe because we "snorkeled" from the heart.

Maybe because there were no mice or cockroaches in our room, or maybe because we arrived at a completely empty hotel, where, apart from the staff, there was not a single living soul, or maybe because we "snorkeled" from the heart.
To begin with, we went to the cheapest hotel at that time, even the terrible Aida was more expensive. I chose this area because I wanted to see turtles (I even saw a shark there!!! ) Despite the fact that we do not like secluded holidays, being absolutely alone in a hotel on the white sand sea has many advantages. Firstly, extremely attentive staff, got to know almost everyone. By the way, that "Italian host who comes for two days" (about whom it was written in the last review) is actually an Arab, and a very nice person, they even played ping-pong with him, he helped clean up dirty dishes in the dining room without hesitation when a lot of people came. The administrator, Mukhamed, who really "understands Russian only when he needs to" said goodbye to us as close relatives when we left. The waiter-Temer even brought us drinks to the shizlong on the beach, and poor Yaser (and in general everyone else) first with us until 3.4 at night in the bar drunk sometimes dancing))))) looked and then in 7 am like a bayonet in the dining room. They are like robots.
People really complained about mice, I know they were poisoned, I saw one "victim of a chemical attack" near the fence. Before our departure, a cat appeared, I hope there are fewer mice. The rooms have white pastels and towels, which is rare for Egypt. But fumitox is a must!!!
About food: for the first 3 days we didn’t even have a buffet, but at the same time they fed very tasty, then they had a barbecue in honor of the opening, and a buffet appeared.
Nutrition (for those who are interested): in terms of fruits, melon, goava, oranges, all kinds of sweets, biscuits and cookies from sweets (actually I almost don’t eat it, so I won’t say how tasty and varied it is, I was worried about vegetables and meat). The chicken is very tasty, the usual beef, and the standard sole. I can say that, for example, in last year's hotel there was more choice, but it costs 58t. r. (from Samara) Cataract Resort (Sharm el-Sheikh), and this one is 36t. r.
In the end, of course, the attendants did not have time to even wipe the plates dry. But they recruited new staff with us (they accepted 3), so I think everything will work out.
In terms of entertainment, you can go to a disco until 3 in the morning to the neighboring cataract on the right through the hotel (they ate to look at the sea), somewhere to the left of the hotel, 4 km away. like open-air (we didn’t get there, we didn’t have enough time), if you ask Yaser for anything. We ourselves went by minibus to El Quseir, it’s better to go there in a crowd (or not to go at all))))) as we were advised by local Peges guides who happened to meet. And in general, there is nothing to see except the mosque and the church, a poor fishing town 110 km away. from us ($ 4 per person round trip by minibus). We went to the port of Galipt, this is very beautiful for those who miss civilization, we ate at Pizza Hot (also by minibus there for $ 2 back by taxi in five for $ 3.50 km. from U. S. And of course Abu Dhabi! 20 km. also on the minibus $ 8 for the entrance and mmmm super !! ! (for reference: turtles come up every 10 minutes)
About the sea: enter from the left according to the Italian flags. hotel, there is also a good depth for those who do not like to swim far. So, if you walk along these flags for 150-200 meters (by the way, this small thing is almost on all the beaches from Safaga to Marsa Alam), corals begin 5 meters, and then a terrible cliff (super) !! ! It seemed to me that the variety of fish is less than in Sharm, because many (bottom) are hiding in crevices, but it seems to me that there are no such corals anywhere.
Summing up, I would like to say that if we go to rest in Egypt next year with a child, then this hotel will cost 70 thousand for three. As far as I know, Cupid has now risen in price by 5 tr, but still you should not expect all kinds of pickles and cool animation for that kind of money.
I specifically chose a Russian-only hotel so as not to stand in line for the Germans and not feel like a second-rate person with the Italians. In general, we were treated very well. And no matter how they compare the 4s of Egypt with the 4s of Turkey and even Greece and Spain, there is no such sea anywhere.
