After two visits, a new Albatros Aqua Park appeared, which we liked even more. We were at the opening of the hotel in May 2017, then there was a trip in October and the first anniversary of the hotel in May 2018. Information about the opening in June 2018 of the new Albatros Sia World Marsa Alam hotel inspired us to a new trip. And now, on the wings of the "Wind Rose" in October 2018, we are in Hurghada. There are only two couples from our flight to Albatross, but without waiting for anyone, we travel 210 km by minibus to the hotel in exactly 2 hours. Another Albatross record 10 minutes from arrival at the hotel and we are already in the villa room in the very middle of the hotel. Instead of the paid standard, we were given a huge, 70 square, two-room suite with two double beds, plasma, a bar with drinks. , armchairs, a coffee table and a veranda on the first floor of the villa, for 12 rooms. Very large bathroom with shower equipped with the most modern plumbing. The downside is the air conditioning system, which works great, but compared to the Aqua Park in Sharm it is noisier. That's it, the rest has begun, we quickly change clothes and go to inspect the hotel and have dinner. And again a surprise. The veranda offers a beautiful view of the cascade of pools, fountains and the main sea. It's quite close. The concept of the new hotel is complete relaxation and tranquility, no one interferes with anyone. Everything is divided into zones. Entrance area to the hotel, Aquapark area, Spa area, tennis court, football field, volleyball court, mini golf, fitness equipment. A separate area with a clinic, a pharmacy, a dozen shops with jewelry, leather, perfumes, etc. The absence of an alternative, the nearest town of El Courcer, 18 km, increases the prices of goods three times. For comparison, a bag of mango juice which in Sharm costs 12-15 pounds in the shop of the hotel 60. Therefore, most vacationers just look. Separately, there is a zone of restaurants and bars, which stretches for 500 meters. Near each restaurant, and there are 4 of them, there is a platform where all kinds of grills, shawarma, kebab, pizza, pasta, various fish, seafood are placed. In general, food is an order of magnitude higher than in other Albatrosses where we were. The breakfasts are especially different. The choice is very large. Surprisingly edible sausage and ham, five varieties of good hard cheese. Constantly bacon, which can be used in different ways. Huge selection of pastries, croissants, pancakes, salads, yogurts. Juices both from automatic machines, and packaged. Coffee machines and machines with different ice creams are installed. The kitchen is more Europeanized. The choice of dishes for lunch, and especially for dinner rolls over. Sushi, different fish, shrimp, lobster, squid, turkey. chicken, duck, beef, lamb. Every day in different forms and is not repeated. Huge selection of fruits. The first time constantly mangoes, pineapples, melons, grapes, persimmons, apples, pears, plums, dates, bananas, oranges. The only thing missing was the figs, which we ate last October in Sharm. All alcohol is only bottled in bars, champagne and various cocktails. Service is great, lots of waiters. Everyone is polite and always smiling. I don’t know how they understood my meager knowledge of foreign languages, but there were no problems. Service is fast and professional. For children in restaurants there are children's corners with plasma and cartoons. Often in the evening there was live music, children's discos and various animation programs. And now about the main thing. This is the sea for which we came here. About 150 meters from the shore stretches a coral reef with great depth, which is a barrier to waves. And if there is a strong wind, then the height of the waves on the border with the reef reaches three meters. Accordingly, a red flag is posted and no one is allowed to enter the large reef from the pier in the sea. For such cases, there is a lagoon in the middle of the beach, fenced with buoys. In the deepest place, the depth is 2-2.5 m. The entry is gentle, sandy. small coral islands are not impressive, but there are fish, you can see small rays, octopuses, moray eels. In windy weather, there are many snorkelers in the lagoon. When the wind subsides and the green flag appears, there is something for lovers of the underwater world to see. The reef is alive, stretching for several kilometers in length. Good depths for diving. By the way, the hotel has a large international diving club. There are a lot of fish and the farther from the pier the bigger. Beautiful colorful corals. Filmed a lot of video footage. But there were no Dugongs and giant tortoises, which made us make this trip, on this reef. For a dream, we set off with an excursion from Port Ghalib to Marsa Mubarak Reef. Dreams should come true and we are lucky. As many as six large turtles, two huge sea cows, one of which swam right next to us, a manta ray floating in the water column. Beautiful reef with many inhabitants. A bonus to our trip was a flock of dolphins accompanying our ship in the night sea. The next day we saw two Albatrosses hovering over the beach of the Albatros Hotel. Good omen. Albatros Sia World Marsa Alam passed the test with flying colours, and has become another worthy hotel in the Albatros Peak chain.
