I want to share my impressions of my 32nd holiday in Egypt. Stayed in Marsa Alam at Albatros Sea World Marsa Alam 5*, all inclusive. She chose the hotel based on reviews and recommendations from friends. I moved from another hotel for 4 nights, I dreamed of visiting there for a long time.
I arrived at the hotel around 14:00. They greeted us very kindly at the reception, offered us dinner, and then checked us in. Room on the second floor, side view of the sea. The room is cozy, new and modern, the furniture is very comfortable, a large comfortable bed, wardrobes, mirrors, a safe, a refrigerator. The bathroom has a shower, a powerful hair dryer, quality cosmetics (but for some reason there was no shampoo). The interior is very stylish and concise, you can feel the work of the designer. The air conditioner works perfectly. There is a kettle with a set of coffee, tea, cream, sugar.

Water and cosmetics are regularly replenished. Light insulation and sound insulation are good, it was possible to sleep normally.
There is a large glass balcony with a partial sea view, it has a table, 2 chairs and a dryer. The cleaning is excellent, they also spun swans out of towels.
The territory of "Albatros Sea World Marsa Alam 5*" is simply huge, I didn't go around it all. The style of architecture is not oriental, but more reminiscent of American ranches. There are not many plants, the main territory is occupied by pools, there are about 20 of them. There is an aqua park, a mini golf course, and playgrounds for children. The hotel has more than 600 rooms. The interior of the reception is very stylish, with a lot of marble decoration, plants and fountains. There is a pharmacy and shops on the territory.
Food is a strong point of the hotel. There are several main restaurants. The choice of dishes is very large, there are joints for dietary food, there are fried potatoes, hamburgers, pizza and hot dogs, everything is prepared deliciously. Food for every taste. Fresh juices are available for breakfast. Meat and fish dishes are excellent. A huge variety of vegetables and fruits. Lots of desserts.
You can visit an a la carte restaurant once, it is also delicious there. Snacks are prepared almost all day in the bars: potatoes, hamburgers, pizza and others. It is simply impossible to remain hungry or dissatisfied. There are no long queues for food. Waiters bring drinks. Ideally. Thanks to the cooks.
There are also several all-inclusive bars: on the beach, outside the reception, near the pools. The selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails of normal quality is very large. I was pleased to have good coffee.
Service is a very strong point of the hotel. The high level and service standards of the "Albatros" network are felt. The staff works flawlessly. Constant quality control is carried out by surveying tourists and surveying problems and wishes. I give the highest rating to the management for organizing the work of the staff.

The animation in the hotel is active but unobtrusive, which is great. There are daytime sports entertainment and evening shows and competitions.
There is "live" music in the evenings. The beach is very large, 500 m, well equipped. A sufficient number of sunbeds, screens from the wind and umbrellas. There is no need to take sunbeds, there are enough for everyone.
Sea. As you understand, without visiting the hotel, it is very difficult to assess what the underwater world is like there, the reviews are very subjective. It is because of the sea that this hotel is absolutely not suitable for people like me. Snorkeling is my number one priority on holiday in Egypt, I am a very experienced swimmer. In Albatros Sea World Marsa Alam 5*, the coral is dead and gray, and there are almost no fish. Snorkeling is no fun. In addition, it is very windy and stormy there, the pontoon is sometimes closed, the hotel does not have a bay. When the hotel coral is not interesting, I try to swim away from the hotel in search of live coral. And it often worked out for me, for example in Makadi Bay. But this time it was not possible to find something interesting nearby.
As soon as I swam 40 meters from the pontoon along the coral, the lifeguard started whistling. But the hotel does not affect the beauty of the coral, so it cannot be blamed for the lack of a bright underwater world. You just need to take this factor into account when choosing a place to rest.
Let me summarize: rest is expensive, so my requirements for the hotel are very high. In "Albatros Sea World Marsa Alam 5*", comfort, design, service, cleanliness, food meet the standard and level of the "Albatros" hotel chain. The hotel is almost flawless in all respects. It is ideal for families with children, for people who like to swim and relax in pools, who like to eat and drink well. But those guests who come to Egypt to admire the unique underwater world of the Red Sea will be very disappointed.
