We went to this wonderful hotel to celebrate the New Year with the whole family (my husband and I and two children: 5 years old and a year old) and with friends. I was there for the first time. So in order.
1. Settlement. I gave this hotel a rating of 9 only because of the accommodation. We were settled very quickly, although we arrived at 11 am, but they gave us a room near the sewer, which periodically "pleased" us with smells. When we settled in, we did not notice it (hidden in the bushes) : )))) The room is excellent. Very nice, clean, good furniture. There is a TV with two Russian channels, a minibar (free only on the first emptying, all subsequent replenishments are paid), there is good plumbing in the shower room and everything you need; gels, soap, lotion, 2 bathrobes and slippers. They immediately brought a crib and made it up. Many of the rooms there have great balconies, enclosed, with a table and 2 chairs.
2. Staff. The staff of this hotel is its main gold. The service was the best. Everyone is extremely polite and friendly, any request is fulfilled quickly. Our cleaner was a miracle, we were extremely pleased with the cleanliness and comfort in the room, we left him $ 1, although they say that 1 pound is also possible. Every day a Russian girl came up to us and asked if everything was fine with us, if there were any wishes or complaints. In general, the staff is a big five.

3. Nutrition. The food in the main restaurant is very good, though not very varied, but everything is tasty and fresh. They allow you to take it out with you and even at your request they can carefully wrap it in foil (so that it does not get cold! ). All visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner are greeted by a colorful Indian uncle with a chic mustache. Of course, everyone wants to take a picture with him. There is also a pool bar - there the menu is very different from the menu of the main restaurant, designed mainly for adults. With children, it is definitely better to eat in the main restaurant.
We went to an oriental restaurant - we do not recommend it to anyone, disgusting.
4. Sea and beach. The sea is clean, of unusual color; they say that the color of the water is only in Makadi. The beach is clean, well-groomed, the entry into the sea is excellent, slippers are not needed there. At 25-30m from the shore there is a live reef with fish, it is fenced with white buoys. The water was cold this time of year, but would that stop the Russians? We finally made it to the reef. Connoisseurs say that it is not as big and magnificent as the reef in Marsa Alam, but I have not been there, I can’t say anything about this. But I really liked it, I filmed a bunch of fish on video, and even now, when I review the footage, I feel an extraordinary feeling of beauty and unity with nature.
5. Pools. There is a large cold pool, a small heated pool and a no-fuss children's paddling pool. The pools are clean, "vacuumed" them every evening. There are a lot of loungers. The towels are good.
6. Territory. This is a separate song. One word - BEAUTIFUL!!! ! Even if you stay in another Makadi hotel, still go to the Iberotel for a tour and be sure to take a camera. You'll like it!
7. Children's leisure. There is a children's room. During our stay there were two women working there. One German woman is clearly of a Nordic character, the second is our girl Oksana, an enthusiast in her field and many thanks to her for her kindness, positive attitude, good attitude towards children and organizing children's discos! Once a week they make cakes with the children and decorate them with fruits. There is a playground, it is in the shade and covered with a thatched roof, but boring, there is nothing to do there. You can go with children to the hotel opposite, there is a better playground. What struck me was that this hotel (which is opposite, I don’t remember what it’s called) has a kids club, BUT only for German children!

8. Adult leisure. He's not there, but he's there. In the evenings, small performances are held in the tent, either by animators, or by inviting small (and not very professional) groups. What I didn't like - the tent is closed, there are a lot of smokers. If you do not smoke or with children, then you will not sit there for a long time.
There is a promenade along the beach, about 3 km long. All hotels along the promenade have open access to the territory. So you can go to a performance or a disco in other hotels. Opposite the hotel there are many small shops, you can arrange shopping. About a 10-minute drive from the hotel there is an excellent water park, however, we did not stay there due to strong winds. There seems to be WI-FI in the lobby, and I even connected a tablet to it, but the speed was zero. In general, "Faya, no wi-fi... "
There is a small gym with three treadmills and a bunch of iron. There are no abs and back machines.
At 16.00 right on the beach yoga.
9. Contingent. Makadi, it seemed to me, in general, for the most part, a resort for the Germans. In our hotel there were about 80% of them, in the neighboring ones it was the same. No tag. Everything is quiet and respectable.
10. New Year. The holiday itself was amazing. A large tennis court was covered with carpets and turned out to be a fabulous tent, there was a magnificent table (for the New Year's dinner they paid $ 75 separately when buying a ticket), animation and a disco at the end. Those who were with the kids did not get lost, they put them to sleep right there in the strollers, covered them from the light, put all the strollers in a row near the wall so that no one stumbled over them... the baby sniffed to loud music and noise, the parents came off...
11. In my opinion, this hotel is the best combination of quality service, excellent beach and leisure. I recommend it to everyone.
