The first impression was that we found our hotel in Egypt. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, good food by Egyptian standards. There are no intrusive sellers and masseurs. Good housekeeping. And quite a beautiful reef. Feature of the hotel You can take drinks (juices) only for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, soft drinks (cola, juices) are brought by waiters. You can't pick up a glass and get a Coke yourself. You order a drink from the waiter and wait. Wait and order again and again. But you won't get cola. Usually a soft drink was brought at the end of dinner. Once they brought it when I had already gone for a cola to a bar located nearby. But the bartender could not pour cola and send back to wait in the restaurant. And I went for a Coke in another bar. Then I began to carry drinks from the minibar to dinner with me. One day we asked to bring a glass of wine, which we brought with us. Every time the waiters said OK and left. . . for good. In a restaurant near the beach (works by appointment) they brought me a second glass of juice after the third order, when dinner was already over.
Drinks are served on the beach. The first time our order didn't arrive, I went to the bar and wanted to take it myself. The bartender rocks for me to come back and they will bring it to me. But as you may have guessed, they did not bring us anything. I began to demand drinks from the bartender and did not leave until they poured them for me. On the last day, the bartender simply refused to pour the juice. I asked him three times. At the end he said there was no juice. Although the juice was in the fridge.
Vacation ruined. I came to relax, and not to demand the drinks I paid for from the hotel staff. We have been to other hotels in Jazz Makadi and had no problem with drinks. This was the third visit to this hotel chain. I will not go to this hotel again.
