We stayed at the end of October 2021. I am writing from recent experiences. The hotel is on a coral reef. At low tide, you can walk 200 meters knee-deep in water. To the left of the beach there is a small piece of shore with deep water. There all the rest and splashing. The hotel has a huge territory with a large number of 3-storey buildings, half of which are empty. The territory looks abandoned, abundant bald spots of the lawn give the territory a dull look. The hotel's main restaurant looks like a huge canteen from the 90s. Rooms are spacious but with broken furniture. The room has a kettle and tea bags, but the cups for tea are sorry - limited to paper cups. By the way, in the main restaurant, tea and coffee are also served in paper cups. Which was very depressing.

Food: You won't die of hunger. There is food, but a very poor assortment, without frills. Powdered juices, instant coffee, powdered milk, powdered wine too.

Only beer was poured from bottles or cans. Bottled water was limited to 1 bottle per person per day. If you want more, pour from the cooler. It was very uncomfortable. Bottled water should be in unlimited quantities everywhere: in a restaurant, in a bar, on the beach. Wifi was only available in one area. In the evenings, with a large crowd of users, the Internet would freeze and could turn off. Some bought local SIM cards. Payment for all services at the hotel is cash only. Cards are not accepted.

Late check out is $20 per room. When renting a room, bracelets are cut off and they are not allowed into the restaurant. All this is of course the little things in life, but they spoil the impression of the hotel. Can't say my holiday was ruined. You can also have a good rest in a tent. But if the hotel positions itself as 4 *, then it must correspond to this level. The Royal Pharaohn hotel in terms of service and accommodation draws on a solid 3 *.
