The hotel's main restaurant looks like a huge canteen from the 90s. Rooms are spacious but with broken furniture. The room has a kettle and tea bags, but the cups for tea are sorry - limited to paper cups. By the way, in the main restaurant, tea and coffee are also served in paper cups. Which was very depressing.
Food: You won't die of hunger. There is food, but a very poor assortment, without frills. Powdered juices, instant coffee, powdered milk, powdered wine too.
Only beer was poured from bottles or cans. Bottled water was limited to 1 bottle per person per day. If you want more, pour from the cooler. It was very uncomfortable. After the plane, of course, I wanted to take a shower, but even here it was a disappointment - there was no hot water either in the morning, or in the afternoon, or in the evening, when I told the reception about it, they just smiled sweetly and said that the water should be drained for 5 minutes, then 10, then 15 ...as a result, further if she went down the whole day, the miracle would not have happened, she would not have become hot !!!
The hotel itself is located outside the city, the wind constantly blows there in December, the territory is open, I didn’t take off my jeans and jacket all day, but I planned to swim and sunbathe, because I was advised it precisely because there is little wind there))) Probably the only plus of this hotel is - this is a beautiful flat sandy beach, but what's the point if it's cold and there is no opportunity to swim and sunbathe))) At night we escaped with air conditioning, it was terribly cold, we slept in clothes, in the evening I just wanted to pack my suitcase and fly home!!!
Having survived the night, in the morning I began to pack my suitcase, I was clearly determined that we would not stay here for another minute!! ! We were supposed to meet the guide at 10.45 26.12, we waited for him and asked to be picked up from this hell!! ! He laughed and said that this is a bad hotel and that this is always the case here and tour operators know about it, but they don’t talk about it, they just make money on such tourists like us, in general, for the $ 100 that we gave to the guide, he took us to a hotel in Hurghada itself, to the Marlin Inn hotel.
And for a second it seemed that we were somewhere on the other side of the world, I immediately wanted to change clothes, it was very warm, there were people in the hotel, friendly staff, they received us very well and we spent the remaining 4 days wonderful, went on an excursion and enjoyed the sea! The sea generally suited us. The food is mediocre. You won’t see any pickles here, potatoes and vegetables in general can be half-baked, some inedible sauces, I didn’t like the fish. They mostly ate rice with fresh vegetables and chicken, beef was rarely, if ever, once in some kind of gray gravy, couldn’t it have been cooked somehow tastier in appearance. There were days when I ate more for breakfast than for lunch, eggs and pastries in the morning will always be. But let's face it, we didn't go hungry, but what to feed the children here would be a question for me, of course. In general, I think that couples here are much more comfortable to relax than with children. No alcohol at all, take normal with you. We bought one SIM card for two at the airport, we had a connection always and everywhere, surprisingly very nimble, faster than our phones at home. The staff is very different, there are normal hardworking guys, they are mostly young people who just plow. And there are lazy people who like to discuss girls, but they also do it selectively. My husband is big, so no one even looked askance in my direction. It’s better not to go here for lonely girls, at least with a girlfriend, but it’s better with a guy, of course. Entertainment in the hotel is weak, and we didn’t go much, evenings were mostly spent on the Internet for work. No one yells and bawls songs - just super! The staff is friendly, we got good rooms, and there was a kettle and a refrigerator, a hair dryer in the room. Although a couple from Ukraine was resting in front of us, they complained about the number. But their building was far from ours. The main advantage of the hotel is the pier. it is not allowed from other hotels. What a great reef! I would like to go next November.
