The SEA GULL BEACH RESORT 4 * hotel is located in the very center of Hurghada and consists of the territories of the old and new hotels and is located on the first line.
The old SEA GULL is considered the main office hotel, as it is where they decide where to accommodate you, the meeting with the guide also takes place in the spacious lobby of the old hotel, where it is also possible to arrange excursions.
Upon arrival, we were accommodated in a new hotel, which we were pleased with. We know from experience that a new hotel can always replace a good old one. Since we arrived in the afternoon, we were settled without much delay. At the old hotel, a man took our things and we headed to the new hotel. It is possible to go from hotel to hotel either along the embankment or along the street, which is a little difficult and seems much further.

We arrived at four. We were given two numbers. The children got a huge room with a double bed, our room was smaller with two one and a half. We immediately took our room, the view was on the territory and the sea. The children did not like their room, it seemed very empty and the view from the window to the sea and part of the central street of Hurghada. We know that you can always change the room for a fee, the children made an attempt, but no one wanted to talk to them about this topic. To be honest, we liked their room more, because there is more air. By mutual agreement, we exchanged rooms and everyone was very pleased. From our rooms to the sea can be reached both by means of an elevator and an external ladder. We lived in different sides of the hotel but on the same fourth floor.
The contingent of the hotel was almost entirely Russian-speaking, with the exception of our fellow Slavs. On the way from the airport, the bus guide told us that there was no more turtes and all tourists would be from other tour operators. At the hotel, we realized that we were in a former social camp in a good way. All hotel staff speak Russian well, they were all trained. Sometimes we had to use our knowledge of English, but the good-natured expression of our faces revealed the secret that everything is here for us, for the Russian speakers. We realized that the entire hotel was bought by our tour companies. You will not believe, but with such an accumulation of our brother, we felt very comfortable. The high level of our tourists from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus from other countries affected. Yes, our people have become more self-sufficient, satisfied with their rest and without any special pretensions, although there was something to complain about if they wanted to.
Our food was all inclusive. All points of reception write and bars were at our disposal. Maybe someone thought that there was not enough meat, but it was very well cooked. Chickens and fish were every day. We really liked the fish, a lot and without bones. For breakfast, individually prepared scrambled eggs or pancakes. There were a lot of children, there was a children's kitchen. There were no queues at the canteen, with the exception of new arrivals. In the evening, meat dishes were sometimes presented individually, which could be poured more and for everyone, but no, each piece was given out separately by the cook, apparently estimating your physique.
As for drinking, they seem to be fine. We were thinking of shopping in a dutik, so the prices there surprised us very much up to 20 or more per bottle. The bar in the hotel lobby is open 24 hours. The hotel bars have vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, tequila and so on. But all of their production and almost the same quality and turnover somewhere up to 30. We liked a good red and white wine in our opinion. We did not try our luck with their alcohol. Their beer is not bad and drinks too. They poured little by little, so I had to go several times. True, if you asked to fill 4 glasses, they always gave it. There were cases when we were given alcohol that was impossible to drink, because of the smell of bleach. At first we thought that they make ice from tap water, then that they wash the dishes like that, while carefully tasting the drinks, it was determined that the original drinks themselves have a characteristic repulsive smell. More or less, only rum did not succumb to criticism.

The beach is good. There were enough beds for everyone. We occupied ours after 6-00. If later you will be far from the sea. Towels were issued from 9 o'clock. So lovers of the morning exercise carried them with them to the room. For breakfast and lunch, towels and things were left on sunbeds, there were no cases of theft. There is a bar on the beach. It works from 10-00. Here you can refresh yourself, prepare various snacks, coffee, tea, such as pancakes. Ice cream was served twice a day on the beach.
The animation is all in Russian, the girls are many of our Russia, Belarus and their guys, fluent Russian, English, Polish. Offered a lot of excursions. We settled on quad bikes. They promised to show the bidouins, riding a donkey, a horse, a camel, quad bikes and a spider car and a hookah. All for 30 dollars. We were satisfied that we took a minimum 3-hour excursion, taking longer, just stretching the time.
The weather was good . The wind was only on the last day. The sea is almost without surf. Sandy beach, great for kids.
In the evening, in addition to walking for souvenirs, coupons are possible for free: playing billiards, squash, tennis. In the evening, the animators sometimes stirred up some programs, a couple of times there was live music. During the day on the beach they offered a disco in Hurghada. Billiards could be played at night, since the bar worked. Once we went to their restaurant for 20 ye. Dishes are the same drinks too, the only program.
On the day of departure, the room must be vacated before 12, they wanted to extend it for 50 bucks until 18-00. We were refused. They said the hotel was full. Cut off bracelets. But we ate. We didn't go to dinner. The flight was rescheduled for 2 hours. Without bracelets in the bar let go as much as needed.
What we liked about the hotel: the presence of water slides, an abundance of bars with soft drinks and, if there are a sufficient number of tourists, there is practically no queues. Vacation was a success!
