I hasten to share my impressions of our holiday at the Seagull Hotel from 11 to 25 July, and they are oh so contradictory. However, about everything in order.
Shortly before the expected date of departure, the tour operator, Lagina Travel (Lagina travel), changes the carrier to Transaero, shifting the departure date by a day. Transaero deserves a separate ''praise'' for this flight. We are flying with the whole family, with a child of 2 years. In the morning we check in for a flight in order to get 3 seats nearby, and not throughout the cabin, the seats are confirmed by the girl from the call center. Nevertheless, motivating that there are a lot of passengers with children on the flight (I wonder who is screaming like not a child in our country? ), we are given only 2 seats next to each other. And not only we were so lucky, half the plane was seated anyhow. The flight attendants did not take any action to find and exchange seats for passengers with children, they say, negotiate for yourself (for comparison, in the Dutch KLM, in such a situation, the three of the flight attendants ran and interviewed half the plane, but put the mother and child in comfortable seats). Then the fun began. After an hour of flight, the nicotine-addicted part of the vacationers began to break down and they crawled into the toilets to smoke (the stench was on the cabin floor). This went on for the entire flight, and only shortly before landing, apparently out of boredom, they caught one and tried to persuade him for a fine for 20 minutes, at least it looked like that. By the way, at Transaero, 2 charter Boeing-747s arrive in Hurghada almost at the same time, and almost 900 people immediately stand in a long line at passport control. The winner is the one who knows English and fills out the immigration questionnaire faster.
The Seagull Hotel consists of 2 buildings, we were in the old, largest one, and we will talk about it. In principle, it is not so bad, 70% of the rooms have balconies, including those with sea views. But if you have a Russian passport, then most likely you will be placed in a room without a balcony overlooking the courtyard, and not the pool and the sea, with almost dead air conditioning and plumbing rewound with tape. There are options facing the street right above the air conditioner rack, so the temperature on the balcony there is all 70 degrees. (We reviewed about 6-7 numbers that were offered to replace us). The queue of indignant fellow citizens is alternately offered several rooms, still facing the courtyard, the bulk of the normal numbers are given primarily to Arabs, Poles and Germans. By the way, you need to declare at the reception in the morning your intention to change the room, then at 14-00 there is an option that it will be changed to something more decent (at first they gave us a cell on the ground floor, the air conditioner did not work, there was a street behind the wall, but big red ants were crawling around the room). By the way, on request, they really brought us a baby bed - a pre-war cot, repaired several times by welding, which in itself is hardly worth it, we did not dare to put a child on it.

Hotel location: in the new part of Hurghada, next to a couple of grocery stores - you can find the essentials for a child, a lot of all kinds of shops with knitwear, bags, souvenirs.
Beach: Sandy, there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas, although our fellow citizens take 3 sun loungers and 3 chairs at once in the morning, but this is easily treated. There are 2 beaches near the hotel, one of them is in the open sea, the second part is made in the form of a small artificial lagoon. The access to the sea is even, without reefs and stones, however, do not dream of seeing the diversity of marine life near the coast (there are no corals AT ALL). The beach and lagoon are cleaned regularly.
Restaurant: It does not shine with a special variety. Breakfast is like in the army: every day is the same, without deviating from the charter. By the way, Arab women who have a rest in the hotel bathe in their purely Muslim outfits, and then they go to dinner in them, so do not be surprised by wet chairs. The restaurant also has highchairs for children: 2 pieces for the whole restaurant - about 300 visitors! The results of visiting the restaurant will not keep you waiting: one word ''Prankster cook! '' 90% of familiar vacationers experience all the signs of banal diarrhea in the first 2-3 days. The infection does not spare even small children!  A three-year-old child of acquaintances in the children's club vomited sausages for 2 days and not only.
Water park: Children - 4 slides, adults - 3 Adults are not particularly impressed, in such a territory could be done more. We must pay tribute: several lifeguards are on duty at water parks, swimming pools, and the beach.
Mini-zoo: well, I would not call 4 stunted cages with pigeons and budgerigars so loudly.
There are no playgrounds as such, except for 2 swings. On the territory of the new building there is another miniature playground with a pair of rare swings and a slide.

Separate ''thank you'' to the Ladzhina travel agency and the local travel agency Travel Ways (by the way, they also work with the Capital Tour company!!! ) for a fair dose of adrenaline. Jokers are rare, to say the least. Having delivered to the airport, the guide asked: ''Do you have e-tickets? '' Of course, back in Moscow we were given receipts for Transaero flights (indicating the flight number) round-trip ''Okay, counters 29-30'' - says the guide leaves. We find racks - and there Atlant-Soyuz is registered in Vnukovo. When check-in was opened for the flight UN650 indicated in the receipt, it turned out that we were not on the lists (by the way, the same situation surfaced with a guy and a girl who left with the travel agency Evelina Travel). Total: 4 adults and a child of 2 years were left without return tickets. The search for representatives of the company began - everyone was looking for them (the information desk on the speakerphone, the firms Intourist, anex tour, etc. ). After 30 minutes of searching, the situation cleared up. It turned out that on the eve of our tickets were rebooked for the Atlant-Soyuz flight, it's a pity, only they forgot to tell us (really why !! ). On us, the reception desks were closed. Next - steeplechase on the terminal building.
