Hello everyone. This time I will not write much, because. rested at the hotel for the 2nd time (the first time was in March 2010, this site has my detailed review). This time we rested from March 24 to April 7.2012. me, husband and daughter 9.5 years old. Departure from Sheremetyevo-F as Transaero, everything here is as usual without any complaints. I will say right away from the last trip, something in the hotel has changed both for the worse and for the better. First the worst:
1) We arrived at the hotel at 13-30, a pretzel came up to us from the reception and took all our passports, returned about half an hour later and said that there were only places in the 7th building, and for the main IF THERE ARE rooms, you would have to pay $ 20 extra per night. Rooms in the main building were naturally unnecessarily. going outside, we saw a lot of free sunbeds by the pools and by the sea. When he returned, he said that there were no rooms in the bungalow or in the main building, but we were all insistent. As a result, 2 families (husband and wife and husband, wife and child) settled in a 3-room suite in a bungalow of course for an additional fee. We didn’t have to choose (I arrived with a temperature of 40 and we needed only the main building, so as not to go in the heat and from afar to restaurants), and we agreed only to the main building. He left again and came back an hour later and said that thanks to Allah, one room in the main building was found for us, but we would have to pay extra. To see what number he did not give, he said pay and live in this or forward to building 7. After paying $280 we got the keys to room 2064 on the 2nd floor, overlooking the fence and the desert (see my photos). The room was really big and everything worked properly.
2) In the "Mocha" bar by the pool and in the "Cappuccino" bar (it's right next to the beach), Russians always pour drinks into disposable paper cups, as for the Germans, they only pour them into glass glasses, and beer in general in beer mugs. On the beach and by the pools, waiters offer drinks exclusively to Germans and foreigners (regardless of tips). One waiter at the pool, though mistaking us for the Germans, also offered us a "Drink", we said in RUSSIAN "thank you" and he did not come to us anymore. Previously, there was no such clearly visible discrimination.
3) There were no freshly squeezed juices in the Zoom Kaiser restaurant on the second floor for breakfast. Well, perhaps all of the bad.
Now for the good:
1) The furniture was replaced in some places in the rooms, the locks were changed (now instead of keys there are plastic cards).
2) Finished renovation in the bungalow by the heated pool.
3) A new cafe "Columbus" was opened on the first floor of the main building.
4) There was a children's water park and a children's bar "Sinderella" nearby
5) At the reception and in the lobby bar, the furniture was replaced with new, lighter ones.
6) The pools have new, comfortable and beautiful sunbeds with pads and beds with pads and canopies. (See my photos)
7) Ice cream has become much tastier, not watery, but more creamy.
And in the rest, everything is practically unchanged. Territory well-groomed green. Warm sea. There are always sun loungers by the sea and by the pools. The food is excellent, varied (no poisoning). Drinks in restaurants can be taken by yourself or ordered by a waiter. By the way, the bartender at the Sea Omar restaurant remembered us, and when we approached, he immediately poured everything without asking, which was very pleasant. There are 3 restaurants on the ground floor for breakfast and lunch. All 5 restaurants are open for dinner.
From the above and after talking with Russian vacationers, I again conclude for myself that everything is not so bad in this hotel, and next time we will most likely choose this hotel for our vacation.
