Hi all! We rested with my wife in December 2011. Maybe this review will be biased because we were in Egypt and in general abroad for the first time. Before the trip, we shoveled a lot of reviews on many hotels and on Garden in particular. These nine days of rest were an exception to the concept of rest. Anex's guides were everywhere, so you won't get lost. The only thing that slightly overshadowed the arrival at the hotel at 7.00 is the check-in at 13.00, but we were ready for this (again from the reviews). The room was excellent and without "surcharge". The room has a coffee and tea set, a refrigerator, a safe, a TV set with three Russian channels. Upon check-in, they offered a floor to choose from 1 or 2. Building No. 6 is the most (in our opinion) comfortable in terms of location. View from the balcony to the pool and outdoor terrace with a bar and unobtrusive music in the evenings. The sea on the beach is cold, plus the breeze blows. Go further to the edge of the pier, but it's worth it to swim with a mask, see colorful fish and corals. And the water is warmer by 3-5 degrees. Enough sunbeds on the beach. Borrowing early just doesn't make sense. By "ultra ol" they could dine in all the restaurants of the Garden and Mamluk, but for all the time, except for the central one, they went only to "italiano". The service seemed too intrusive, and then went only to the central restaurant. Spacious heated pool with enough space for water polo. The food is ok, maybe a little monotonous, but good quality. On an excursion to Mahmia, we were unlucky with the weather. There was no sun and a strong wind was blowing, and it's great there. On an excursion to Cairo, they provided a small bus like our "pazik". Butted with a guide for 2.5 hours, moved to a large tourist truck. The museum in Cairo is impressive. The pyramids and the sphinx are worth seeing. In general, the rest seemed amazing to us, it is a pity that it was short-lived. We would have stayed another week or two. We firmly decided to go there with the children.
