After reading the reviews and realizing that we were going to the cheapest five in Hurghada, we set our sights on a very, very modest vacation, yesterday's food, small shabby rooms and a complete lack of territory. Well, let it be, we thought, but we will see a new country rich in history and the Red Sea (Before that, we had been to Turkey three times, which we managed to fall in love with).
The first impression of Egypt, to be honest, was just terrible. In Turkey, cleanliness and gloss, here - construction sites and dirt... You go from the airport to the hotel and look out the windows with horror. It feels like Hurghada is a big and eternal renovation!
Fortunately, upon arrival at the hotel reception, we did not find a construction site in the field of view, which made us incredibly happy. The hotel is located very well - between the old and the new city: not far from the center ($ 2 and 5 minutes by street taxi and $ 3 by hotel taxi to the city center).
The check-in went very quickly, without gifts and problems enclosed in the passport. Initially, we got a room on the ground floor of one of the buildings, but we categorically did not like it because the balcony terrace of your room and the footpath along the building are almost the same thing. That is, you can leave the room not only through the main doors, but also through the balcony doors - no personal space. With a sour expression, we returned to the reception and asked (attention! Asked, not demanded! ) A room on the floor above the first one. We were immediately offered an alternative, but were warned that the view from the room would not be so hot. The view turned out to be on the playground, which did not bother us at all: the sea, pools, animation scene are nearby. They assumed that the speakers near the stage would not let you fall asleep, but they were mistaken - the animation ends at 23:00, and the night disco takes place at a distance from the buildings and does not interfere with anyone's rest.
The minibar in the room is not full, there is a safe - small but free, central air conditioning, but you control it on the spot with a remote control, in the bathroom - shampoos, soap, shower gel and caps. There was no hair dryer, and I again went down to the reception. The manager with a smile held out a cool professional hair dryer with a power of 3000w, which was a pleasure to use, feeling like in a salon))
In general, the buildings and rooms, of course, require cosmetic repairs, but at the same time everything is in order, it looks more or less dignified and the plaster does not fall on the head. After all, we are in the budget "five", so do not forget that we have a rest for relatively very modest money.

The territory is not huge, but there is everything you need: a large swimming pool for adults, a small one for children, a sports ground, a stage and tables adjacent to it, a playground, a snack bar with enough seats, in the evening - a hookah playground, and of course a huge beach, where there is enough space for everyone. There were no problems with sunbeds on any day of our stay. The entrance to the sea for every taste is standard on the sand, along the ladder to a depth of 2.5 m or along the ladder to a depth of 4 m. When you check into the room, cards for beach towels are issued along with the key. In the morning you exchange them for fresh towels, in the evening you exchange towels back for cards. The beaches are constantly cleaned, there is no garbage at all. The employees are great, they act very quickly, they behave culturally and in general no discrimination against Russian-speaking tourists was noticed.

The food seemed to us quite worthy of 5 *. The sea of sweets, pastries are amazing and in huge quantities, dishes for every taste. Only the breakfasts were pretty monotonous. The choice is as follows: omelettes and vegetables in batter are fried outside, pancakes are fried in the restaurant, there are a lot of pastries, there are muesli and crunches, salads, boiled eggs, boiled potatoes and sausages. This set is the same every morning : ) In addition, the restaurant has a health corner (steamed low-fat dishes) and an oriental corner: rice and spicy dishes.
Excursions were taken from a tour operator (if in Turkey it was possible to safely go with street agencies, then here it is extremely dangerous: in the country we did not see a single traffic light and not the slightest commitment to complying with traffic rules. But there were more than three accidents per day).
We went to Luxor - we are satisfied, but it is very, very, very hot there in the summer (47-52C), trousers and long-sleeved clothes are required, and we also took an excursion to a yacht with a transparent bottom - impressive and pleasant, but instead of the declared three hours, the excursion lasted only one and a half.
