I must say right away that this was my first vacation abroad. I went to Egypt because in November you can’t rest anywhere else for that kind of money. The hotel was chosen for a long time and carefully, for which special thanks to "Tour-pravda" and its "correspondents". Travel agency "Vitali-service" organized everything in a wonderful way, so there were no unpleasant surprises on the road. In Egypt, we were met by TEZ-tour (the most developed tour operator). There are no questions either: transfer to the hotel, unloading, subsequent excursions - everything is at a high level. Advice for those who have never been to Egypt: get ready to bargain always and in everything with the local population, servants, taxi and bus drivers, sellers, etc. . d. And get ready to give "baksheesh" (tea) everywhere. At the reception I had to give $ 10 in order to be settled not on the ground floor, but on the third floor overlooking the lagoon (but this is also completely expected). Now about the hotel: we didn't regret choosing the hotel for a minute. Clean rooms (you don’t have to ask and pay for cleaning) daily cleaning, excellent beaches (right next to the buildings. In general, the idea of ​ ​ ​ ​ creating a lagoon inside the hotel complex is brilliant. The cleanest area, all greenery! The sea is only positive emotions (if you don’t step on sea ​ ​ urchins). The cuisine is good: two or three kinds of meat every lunch-dinner, for dinner every time something new (grill, barbecue, fried tuna, shish kebab). There are practically no queues. Local whiskey, brandy, beer (Heineken and Stella ), gin of excellent quality. Fresh bottled water is issued without problems and restrictions. The excursion was to Cairo (to the pyramids) and to the reefs (diving). A taxi to the city is ten pounds (pounds) or two dollars. In the city, everything is cheaper than near there are practically no prices for goods in stores, you can bargain at least twice from the original price. One of the main advantages of the hotel: everything has already been built and there are no construction sites nearby.
Summary: if I rest again in Egypt and Hurghada, I will choose only Sunny Days El Palacio!
Be vigilant and do not take sharp objects in your hand luggage on the way back: at the last check (that is, after checking in my luggage) they took away my Swiss penknife, and my wife’s nail file and nail scissors. Knife especially sorry!
