I stayed at the hotel in April 2009. In Egypt, the ninth time, was in threes, and fours, and fives. Some will say: “Are you here with an inspection or are you on vacation? ” You can answer that since the hotel has declared itself as a 5-star, it should really match. I don’t really understand reviews like: cool Ahmet, Mahmud, drank all the duty free, it was fun. It has nothing to do with the hotel.

A hotel with beautiful walls, rooms, decent grounds, large pools and DISGUSTING staff. Hence the lack of proper service.

1 Number. The room itself is good (1903), no complaints at first glance. The room was cleaned for the first time on the 5th day, and then after the proceedings at the reception. The cleaner doesn't show up until 3pm. After a sandstorm, she asked to clean up again, but the cleaner came only after kicks from the boss and my complaint. Cleaning consisted of making the bed and dispersing the garbage in the corners, and I’m not exaggerating, namely the garbage remained on the floor, only changed its location. The air conditioner blows into the bed, where the curtains do not turn. One day until 14-00 there was no water. The water was turned off twice at night. This was noticed by people leaving on long excursions.
All the walls are covered with dead mosquitoes, which, by the way, were not affected by our fumigator. I bought their plates in a pharmacy, but also no effect. There is a bedside table near the bed, behind it there is a socket, it included a fumigator and up to me 80 cm. Between me and the fumigator there was always a lively mosquito. They killed the mosquitoes, but for some reason the Arab with the stain did not approach the trees, but only, almost running, stupefied the paths, which were clearly free of mosquitoes.
In some rooms, according to the stories of tourists, there were large cockroaches. People ordered processing.
2. Restaurant. The restaurant is a separate entertainment. Glasses and plates are never enough. Clumsy waiters who do not empty the tables from dirty dishes. Breakfast starts at 7-00, and the waiters at best appear 8-30 - 9-00. By this time, all the tables are littered with mountains of dirty dishes. Even in treshkas, dirty dishes never linger on the tables. Due to the queues for food, the lack of dishes, cutlery, you have to spend a lot of extra time in the canteen.

There is nothing and not tasty. Even rice, which is very tasty everywhere in Egypt, the cook managed to spoil. You don't chew meat. Under the food warmers there are no spirit lamps for heating, from which everything cools down very quickly + the search for a clean table = you eat everything cold. The cook who bakes donuts in the morning has perpetual pruritus in the groin. First it scratches, then with the same hand sends the donut into the oil to fry. The waiters constantly grumble something with displeasure. One waiter came up to the table, collected a mountain of dishes from us, then muttered something and threw everything back. What was the matter is completely unclear. We approached the canteen manager, so he made a nonsense that like we are so beautiful that it is impossible to survive calmly and the waiter had a nervous breakdown! Therefore, he left all the dishes on the table with an angry look and incomprehensible phrases! Usually, Egyptian waiters are nimble guys, with stupid jokes, but completely harmless.
The bar is always running out of glasses. I went with my cup for breakfast and lunch, but they refused to pour alcohol into it for dinner! The bartender said that while the owner was building the walls, there was no money left for glasses...
3. The hotel is located at the end of the promenade, as stated. But the second line, not quite the second. The beach is located away from the hotel. You can go by bass, but while you are waiting for it, people gather, and then the driver decides to go or not, it is better to walk. Through the gate to the promenade alley, to the right, walk for 15 minutes at a snail's pace. The road is not among the picturesque: construction, Arabs, wasteland in front of the beach.
4. Beach. The beach is equipped with plastic sunbeds and umbrellas. But there is no fence, from the ever-blowing wind, which is unpleasant. The sea is cleared of floating debris. The sea itself is not striking in its beauty in this place, neither fish nor corals. A hotel in Egypt must, of course, be selected according to the beauty of the sea. Otherwise, why go there? The beach bar is open. But there is only tea, coffee, diluted juices and beer. Buns at 11:00. No tables at the bar, no opportunity to dine. Which also does not speak in favor of a 5-star hotel. At the 3* Triton Empire Beach Hotel you can also eat on the beach. And in the top five, in general, everywhere.
The overall impression of the hotel is not three with a minus, but in three and they are cleaned without problems, and the dishes are in order. It is unfortunate that the hotel was awarded 5 stars only for the territory.
