We rested together with my wife in Lillyland Beach Club 4 * at the end of October 2010. We drove from Kyiv through Anex Tour, there are no complaints against the tour operator, everything is fine and on time. Unfortunately, we got during the school holidays, so it was not possible to get a cheap ticket. Paid $1340 for 7 nights 2AD All Inclusive.
And now - impressions about the hotel. All marks were given on a 5-point system.
Location:
The hotel is located in the Tourist Village area, about 20 km. from the center of Hurghada. In general, this is not scary, because there are a lot of other hotels and shops around. In stores, by the way, prices are basically the same as in the city, so you can buy many things right there, and not bother yourself with tedious out-of-town shopping. Right at the entrance to the hotel, a good sea restaurant “Starfish” has recently opened, and there is a grocery supermarket opposite. In addition, there is a huge shopping mall "Senzo" not very far away.

In the center of Hurghada, on Sheraton Road, you can take a taxi for 15 - 20 pounds, or by minibus, for a couple of pounds from the nose. Only the price must be negotiated before boarding the car.
Overall score - 4.
Rooms:
There are three types of rooms: standards, bungalows, and villas. Villas are expensive and are located on the very seashore, we will not talk about them. Bungalows cover the area from the main pool to the reception area. To check in there, you will need to pay a certain amount at the counter in the paw of the attendant. We were told 8 dollars a day (I don’t know if it was per person or per room), but there were no free bungalows that day, and the next day we were already too lazy to move, so we lived a week in the standard near the reception. The standards are tired, but nothing - a large area, a king-size bed, a TV with two or three Russian channels (I personally watched MTV Deutschland), a small refrigerator.
Standards occupy the area from the reception to the barrier, so try to settle closer to the reception. The numbers there seem to start with 5 or 6.
Overall score - 4.
Territory:

The hotel reception is visible in the center, under the cross. The main pool is to the northeast, by the lagoon.
According to a number of tourists who are not in Egypt for the first time, the territory of the Lilly Land hotel is one of the best in Hurghada in general. I can say from myself that it is well-groomed and completely landscaped, and quite carefully. The same applies to the beach, on which there are almost more palm trees than umbrellas, and each one has an individual watering tube.
The area is quite large, but not so much that it was annoying. In addition, from the reception to the main pool (next to which is the main restaurant and the beach), battery golf carts are constantly running, which can accommodate 7 passengers. From the reception to the main pool can be reached on foot in three to four minutes.

The main pool is quite large with plenty of sunbeds and tables around it. The water is desalinated, chlorinated, cleaned every day after 17:00. Accordingly, swimming in the pool in the evening is not allowed. The water temperature is about 22 degrees, that is, it is cool, but it is even pleasantly refreshing after the sea. The pool is generally quite shallow, but there is a "hole" about 2 meters deep. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones.
There is also a pool closer to the entrance to the hotel, also quite large, and a small pool in the center of the hotel, which we used as a fountain.
The overall impression of the territory is somewhat spoiled by smells. That will blow a faulty sewer, or even just shit. Maybe it's like this everywhere in Egypt, but it's unpleasant.
Overall score - 4.
Nutrition:
I'll be brief here: the food in the main restaurant is very poor. Most of all, it reminded me of the Crimean canteen of the 70s. Goofy catering in everything. Sanitation is also not good.
Even the vaunted Egyptian pastries on the second day are filled with monotony. In addition, the food process itself is not organized in the best way. Example: at breakfast, right at the distribution line, one cook fries omelettes with scrambled eggs, and the other cooks pancakes. There is always a queue of about twenty people for the first one, no one for the second, he stands and misses. Management sees this picture every day and takes no action.
Of the “seafood”, stewed squid with vegetables was given twice in a week, and once some hefty fish such as tuna was baked in foil. Pangassius, which we have plenty of, we do not consider seafood.
Drinks are no better. Instant coffee, tea bags, Jupi-type juices, sour and nasty wines. Locally produced strong alcohol (Bolanachi) appears to be a mixture of ethyl alcohol, water, flavorings and colorings. Rum, gin, and vodka - still back and forth. Whiskey, brandy, and ouzo - nowhere at all.
Bars make "cocktails" - they mix any of the above strong drinks with Fanta, Sprite, Cola, Schweppes. This is also local production, the quality is mediocre.
Drinking water can be collected from a cooler in any bar and restaurant, but in your own container. No water is provided in the room.

The main restaurant serves tourists from the countries of the former USSR and Poles (red bracelets). Italians with Germans (green bracelets) eat at the Nebtun restaurant (sic! ). I don’t know what they are fed there, but it seemed to me that the kitchen is the same for all restaurants, although I could be wrong.
Overall score - 2.
Animation:
Animation is, it's true. Aqua aerobics, dance lessons, beach volleyball, darts, pool games such as water polo or boccia. Some shows are shown in the evening. The disco is complete shit, only to be considered that it exists. Takes place in a hot room near the main restaurant, the music is 30 years old.
We didn't see a single person at that disco. An empty hall, music, and a dead light. There is practically no organized evening life in the hotel.
There are also windsurfing lessons, diving, canoeing, sausage, puck, but all this is for a fee, at least $ 10 for each sneeze.
Overall score - 3.
Beach:
The beach at the hotel is good. Even very good. They say one of the best in Hurghada. A large horseshoe-shaped lagoon with an artificial island (before, they say, there was a disco), from the south-eastern edge - a long pier to the coral reef, then some more beautiful reefs and underwater islands. There are enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone, there are three showers and two toilets.
It would be even better if in the southwestern part of the beach, where there are most people, it would not stink of urine, especially in the morning.
Overall rating - 4+.
Total:
We will go to this hotel again only if fabulously cheap trips suddenly fall on our heads at the right time, and there will be no other offers. For the full price, I would not recommend anyone to go there. I am sure that for this money you can find a much better hotel, if you do not delay the decision until the last day, as we did.
