September 7.2010 we decided to visit Egypt. There were a lot of concerns before the trip. I was afraid of almost everything, and after reading the reviews, it’s just right to refuse a vacation. But we decided not to jump to conclusions. First of all, I was afraid that this is a country with a completely different faith, different laws... and I didn’t really want to violate anything out of ignorance, but my fears dissipated very quickly.
But everything is in order. So we had a ticket from a travel agency with which we had already traveled to Montenegro, so there were no fears about the mismatch between the descriptions of the hotel and the trip itself. We were hosted by Anex tour. Somehow it happened, in Lilliland from Anex there were only the two of us. Therefore, the first couple of days were very boring. Looking ahead, I’ll say that this hotel is really more family-friendly, as I read in the reviews, but if you come with a group, then I think this will not be a problem, it’s quite possible to find entertainment for yourself and I would say it’s easy).
The hotel has a very large, green area. There are rooms and there are bungalows. I was able to see the bungalow only upon arrival in Kyiv on youtube someone made a report about his room)

Having settled in the room, we first decided to change to a bungalow, don't think the room is quite decent, just far enough from the sea and entertainment - food : -) areas, but a replacement room costs $ 4 per night per person. We thought about it and decided that we'd better take some kind of extra excursion. And where to spend the night is not particularly important.
The number itself turned out to be quite decent, of course there were bugs. Especially in the bathroom, but cold. there was always water, towels were changed every day, there were also a couple of flaws in the room itself, but we came to rest, so we didn’t focus on this. The room has air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, and a small safe. The bed was changed every 3 days. Cleaned well, everywhere clean. Every day we left Vandollar, so they also figuratively laid out dresses or swimwear on the bed for me : -) I’ll tell you a funny sight) (this is if things were not in the closet, but where is the thread in a conspicuous place for example). Tap water was advised not to drink and not even brush your teeth with it. At first, we did just that, but then we realized that we did not observe any inadequate reaction of the body, and we already cleaned it. But they still drank bottled water. Once we bought a bottle of water, and then we collected water from a cooler at the reception or in a restaurant.
The territory itself, as I said, is large, well-groomed and green. Benches-swings are scattered throughout the territory in a thin layer. Small electric cars for 8 people go around the hotel. During meals they go very often, so getting from the reception to the restaurant is a matter of two minutes, on foot it took about 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. They fed us well, I don’t know what they said about monotony, but I can’t guarantee that in 8 days in Lilliland I tried everything that was offered to us. There were a lot of fears that their local food would not please my stomach, but I did not notice anything like that. If you wish, if it’s really scary to eat something that you don’t understand what it’s made of, you can easily choose only products that you understand. For example, there were always a string of pasta, and there were always vegetables that could be cut into a salad. Salads, they also served just one of those offered to me, I did not like any. Some were too sharp for me. The variety of sweets generally drove to hysterics, you can’t eat everything, but you really want to : -) The staff is all guys, and everyone is smiling and friendly. If you treat them not as servants, you will be treated accordingly) Of course, they also have unpleasant personalities that are too persistent, but they can simply be ignored. Where are they not.
As for the sea. Lilliland has its own small creek, divided by buoys into three parts, the first is the smallest, just for children, then there are deeper parts, everyone will find where to swim with a surf or a mask. On the territory there is an Aqua center where you could rent a windsurfer, a catamaran and all that. We got an hour of a free catamaran for buying an excursion, but we brought it to Kyiv) They also have animators, of course. Every morning exercises, aqua gymnastics, volleyball, darts. Funny boys. Well, evening programs. But due to the abundance of excursions, we were at the show only once. There were not very many people in September, so the programs were weak. From what I saw on youtube, they were even more interesting.

As for excursions. Three of the 4-ox we took from our tour agent Anex. They turned out to be more expensive than if you take the same ones on site. It is rightly said that you do not need to buy anything in the first two days. You have to go and have a look. Anyway). I personally really liked the ATV tour, it was especially cool to ride them when it was already dark in the desert, an indescribable feeling. On the territory of the hotel from the Aqua Center, there are also sea excursions for every taste. What's more, you don't have to travel by bus. Boats right next to the hotel. We took an excursion to the paradise island from Misha right in Lilliland : ) (by the way, for some reason everyone seems to be either Misha or Dima, they say it’s easier for us to remember) What else can be said about the hotel. The staff, as I said, are friendly, smiling in any situation, they will help if necessary. 5050 of them speak Russian tolerably. And almost everyone speaks decent English.
Well, now a few words about the prices for excursions. Prices from Anex were as follows. Luxor (the road there takes 5 hours one way, although in a comfortable bus with a conder) $ 85 on the price list, but there is always a discount) lunch is included.
Scuba diving is $50 per person and includes lunch.
Sahara park - $ 60 per person, lunch and dinner + evening show (to be honest, the evening show was so-so and already too tired for the day). There they rode ATVs, open jeeps and camels.
Now excursions from the Aqua Center in Lilliland.
We took an excursion to three islands for $ 35 if initially there was an amount of 40. +1 hour of a catamaran for free at any time, and a 50% discount on any other trip. This includes the paradise island, the home of the dolphins, and the place where the Napoleon fish lives). They send excursions directly from the beach of the hotel, so there was no need to go anywhere. The company is called Red Sea Fighters) Such an advertisement)) We promised Misha) Do not blame me)
