Been to this hotel twice. And the impressions are extremely positive. Do not believe the whining and groaning - they just find fault... : )
I first came here at the very end of December 2008 and, of course, celebrated the arrival of 2009 at Eing Tut. Then there was a crisis, a ticket for the "high" season was very inexpensive, so it was just 10 days of complete happiness. The sun, the warm sea, a chic New Year's dinner - just a buzz! And at home, in Samara, at that time there was, by the way, a 30-degree frost...
At that time, by the way, the Sphinx Hotel, which is now in operation, was just being built nearby. But the construction did not give us any problems, we liked everything very much: the food, the staff, and the room. . . Of course, a lot depends on the price. Now "KING TUT" has become noticeably more expensive, and many negative reviews are connected precisely with this. And the hotel is really great! For my taste - small, with a compact territory, not far from the center of the New City - Sherry Street and the beautiful Hurghada Marina. You can get there quickly and inexpensively (maximum $ 2 by taxi), but you can also take a walk...

The entire staff of "King Tuta" is friendly, welcoming and, what is very important, speaks excellent Russian. So there were absolutely no problems in this regard. On the contrary - only pleasant memories. When I visit Hurghada every year, I will definitely visit my old friends from "King Tut" and we communicate very warmly. . . : )
As for tips. . . You know, if you feel sorry for 1-2 dollars in tips for waiters or guys who clean the rooms, then, of course, you will not be treated as sincerely as they treated us. These are the "rules of the game" in Egypt. Just don't be a jerk. . . : )
This year, quite recently, I was lucky enough to visit King Tut once again. More precisely - in the neighboring Sphinx, which is part of the same group with him. Everything was wonderful again!
And yet, opposite the "King Tut" there is a wonderful gift shop where Misha and Roma work. The guys, though from Luxor, speak Russian better than some Russians. They have a wonderful shop where not only good purchases are always waiting for you, but also a warm welcome, hibiscus tea and even a hookah. Unless, of course, you turn your nose up. . . : )
In general, you will be in Hurghada, convey huge greetings from Alexander from Samara to all the wonderful King Tut Hotel, as well as personally to the reception manager Mr. Mohamed (just a wonderful person! ) Roma! . . : )
I love you, "KING TUT", and dream of coming here again and again! . .
