In general, the hotel is ok. Seen better and worse. Everything that is written in negative reviews is true, the main thing is how to treat it.
When checking in, the room, like everyone else, was changed 3 times (at no extra charge). At first, they gave us a standard option with a view of the trash can, but when we turned to the reception with a smile about a replacement, we were calmly given a card from another room. They write a lot about the rooms in the reviews, I will not repeat myself.
I really liked the attitude of ALL the staff towards the guests in the hotel. For a long time I have not seen such an attitude not only in Egypt, but even in Turkey. The staff very quickly remembers vacationers and their tastes, it's very nice. Always polite and friendly.

I really liked the guide of the meeting party Mona Lisa. I have never met such a guide in Egypt: he calmly explained everything, told everything, answered all questions, told about excursions, and when they refused to buy them, he calmly and with a smile wished a good rest.

On Mondays, the hotel reception at 18.30 serves a buffet with drinks and snacks. On Tuesdays on the beach at 11.00 a huge cake is taken out, which is then cut and distributed to everyone.
Liked the beach too. There are always sunbeds. There are fish in the sea, I even saw a huge turtle in the morning.
Food is different. You won't go hungry, but the selection is very limited.
Drinks and alcohol are poured into 150 ml cups, it turns out for 2 sips, but many vacationers went with their plastic glasses of the usual size, poured without question and to the brim.
All excursions, as always, were taken from Mido (1oneguide - when typing on the Internet, there is immediately a link to his website and on Instagram there is this link), the office is right next to the hotel: to the left is the neighboring building on the side of the hotel. Everything is top notch and at reasonable prices. We have been taking tours with him for several years. Everyone is happy.
Also, on the beach of the hotel there is a guy Zelmy, who rides on a cheesecake, a banana and a boat. Cool, funny guy, takes into account all wishes.

Animation in the hotel is not intrusive at all. To be honest, it wasn't even enough. But if you turn to them, they also gave balls for independent play in bocha and a volleyball, again for independent play. But exercises in the morning and water aerobics are always on schedule and are very entertaining. Went a couple of times to the night disco. Well, so-so. The first time there were about 10 of us, they put on normal groovy music, everyone danced, we, however, stayed for about 30 minutes and left, I don’t know how long the disco was. And the second time they came, it was about 6 people, as it seemed to me, they deliberately turned on incomprehensible music, to which it was impossible to dance, the people sat for about 20 minutes and everyone dispersed. This is how the disco ended before it even started. Perhaps the animators were tired and wanted to go to bed earlier.
More we have the desire to go to the disco did not appear.
Outside the hotel there is nowhere to walk. We went to the city market, which is to the right of the hotel (10 minutes walk), I really liked the huge aquarium inside and the prices in the supermarket. Also, on an uber (44 pounds in both directions) we went to the port of Marina, and there we walked to the Mosque and the fish market (we bought shrimp, which were cooked right there on the spot).
Outcome. The hotel is normal if you take it for an adequate price. Will I go a second time? Probably not. Although if there is an inexpensive offer, then yes. I sincerely did not understand people who go there 3 or more times. Maybe it didn't fit in somewhere.
