Our vacation began with the fact that my husband offered me a choice - either a fur coat, or we'll go to the sea. Since I do not go naked, it is quite natural that my choice fell on the warm sea.
I was busy choosing a hotel, and after reading thousands of reviews on the Internet, I decided to go to Panorama Bungalow in El Gouna. I liked the prospect of night swimming in the lagoon and the absence of waves with a possible wind. I also needed a gentle and sandy beach for children (we have a daughter of 3.5 years old).
I will say right away: I, and my husband, really liked the hotel. I also liked its location (tourists from all over Egypt came on excursions every day). You will hardly find a more picturesque place in Egypt!
Everything that I expected from the hotel, I received in full and even more!
Since there were not many vacationers, then we got the room, respectively, one of the best (and at no extra charge). Plumbing is new, a Jacuzzi in the room and a huge bed in one of the rooms (the bungalow was a two-room one) convinced us that paradise exists on earth, especially for a relatively small fee!
The food is quite satisfactory - no frills; but when I asked for strawberries for my daughter, she immediately stood on our table!!!
The hotel itself is small, but has no fences, ie. you can walk around Down Town (it is located a 5-minute slow walk from the hotel) completely calmly, and enjoy the magnificent view of the luxury villas that are also for rent.
In short, we absolutely did not want to leave!
