I visited the hotel in June 2013. To be honest, after the stinking, dirty Hurghada and Sharm, El Gouna is a clean, tidy, paradise and a city of a civilized standard. Firstly, the city belongs to the Egyptian billionaire Sami Sawiris, and he establishes order there, and therefore the city is fundamentally different from the general picture of an illiterate and rather wild and poor Egypt. Millionaires, scientists, athletes, scientists from all over the world live and rest in the city, the city is incredibly clean, well-groomed, we will never be pestered on the street "buy buy", in general, the city is intelligentsia.
Hotel: we lived in a bungalow overlooking a mini lake. We had a nice room, there was a kettle, a safe, everything was clean enough. One thing overshadowed - local bugs somehow got to us. But this is not such a shock, in fact, there are a lot of bedbugs in Egypt, they are usually poisoned, but we only dreamed about how they ended up in the room and on the beds. We asked to kill the bed bugs and the administration immediately sent a cleaner with a spray-poison for insects. But they managed to bite us, it’s not pleasant, yes.
Food: good buffet, eat plenty. Potatoes, salads, pasta, buns, you can take out to the room, if not a lot and carefully.

There are no water coolers in the hotel, juices are given in the dining room and at the pool bar, they made their own tea in the room with a teapot.
Beach: there are two of them at the hotel - one goes to the canal (clean and good), to go to the second for 14 minutes through two bridges, from then it goes to the sea, and it is so-so, the sunbeds are bad, the pillows are dirty, there are a lot of stones on the beach, it not cleaned up to the level of a sandy beach for tourists, one might say wild, there is a long pantone from which you can dive, but it takes a long time to walk to it.
Territory : Clean, beautiful, well-groomed, clean pools
Vacationers: everyone is resting, both Russian and Germans, and Ukrainians and local Arabs and Copts.
Of the minuses: sticky "offers" of services such as massage and a beauty salon walk around the territory, they just got us. The prices for these services are insane and they are performed poorly. Leg peeling $10. At the same time, your legs simply soar in a basin, rub with a brush and smear with local hibiscus cream. All of this takes about 5 minutes. So I do not recommend buying any local SPA services.
In general, the hotel left a very good impression in 2013, what is there now, I don’t know)
