Beautiful Tallinn
Good afternoon! I wanted to leave the first review about my beloved Estonia. In the future, I would like to tell more about the cities of Estonia, and the life of the local population, as well as the advantages of Estonia. In short, I certainly advise you to visit this country and certainly its main city, Tallinn. Tallinn is not only the main attraction of Estonia, it is also the history of not only the state formation of Estonia, but also the history of Russia, the USSR and other older times. Probably many people know the work of the famous Russian artist Aivazovsky "Storm in Tallinn", which shows the whole force of the elements of the Finnish Curl. Until relatively recently, the city was called Revel (the name was taken from the German-Swedish influence), under this name the city became the property of the Russian Empire, and even the region was called Revel.
Later it was renamed to Tallinn.
In Estonia, apart from the famous Tallinn, there are other typical and quite well-known cities. Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia, which has a famous University, and the old streets of the city also attract tourists and students to this city. In general, Tartu is probably more of a student city in Estonia. The city of Narva is a city essentially separated from Ivangorod by a river and this city is also of great historical importance, but now this city is essentially a transshipment base between the Russian Federation and Estonia. The river is the border between the countries, and there is also a border crossing over the bridge. The bridge can be crossed both by car and on foot. For people living in nearby areas of Estonia and Russia, the transition is carried out according to a simplified regime. It is very easy to get to Tallinn, as well as to many cities in Estonia, by bus, plane, ferry.
Estonia is probably the most economically advanced country among all the former USSR countries. In fact, there is no language barrier here and there is no problem of explanation in Russian. Although, of course, there are some moments when someone does not understand Russian or defiantly pretends not to understand, but always one of the Russian-speaking citizens will come up and help you explain yourself in Russian or Estonian with a local citizen. If you speak English, then there will be no problems either, but surprisingly people are more mature? let's say from 35 years old and above, do not know English very well. Estonia is the birthplace of the well-known Skype, and it is also the first state to promote the country's virtual citizenship through e-residence.
I myself am a virtual citizen of this country and opened my legal entity there. Moreover, opening your own company in Estonia is very simple and easy.
When you pick up your documents or send them to the embassy in Moscow, the police are very polite and courteous. In this regard, much has been done in Estonia with great promise and to simplify the life of the Estonians themselves. Estonia is essentially a flat country, with constant winds from the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea. It is very noticeable how Estonia develops new technologies and quite successfully. When you drive from St. Petersburg to Tallinn, it's hard not to notice the huge windmills standing along the highway that generate electricity. Also, the country is essentially sparsely populated and Estonians cherish their identity. To understand it, you have to live there and feel it on your skin. They have rather strict conditions for obtaining a residence permit and citizenship, since the total population is a little more than 1.5 million citizens.
You almost never see policemen on the streets of Estonian cities.
For two years of constantly running to Estonia, I saw police officers only at the police station itself, where I received documents for registering my electronic citizenship. This says a lot, and above all that the citizens themselves are able to find a common language and not be afraid. Therefore, when you come to Estonia, you feel very comfortable. In Estonia, there is a beautiful wildlife reserve, the island of Saaremaa, with the main city of Kuuressaare. It also has its own sights, and you should definitely visit this island and rent accommodation there from local Estonians and take a steam bath in their bath. Nothing compares to pleasure.
