The City Hotel Tallinn is located in a historical building, in the center, a five-minute walk from the Old Town (across the road). In the neighborhood with the hotel is the Meriton Grand Conference & Spa Hotel with a water center (good for traveling with kids) and the railway station. There is a bus stop a stone's throw from the entrance to the hotel - it is convenient to drive to the shopping center and Viru gate.

The hotel is small, clean, with a fresh renovation and stylish rooms, the design of which will "pull" at least one more "star". In the room: TV, telephone, spacious wardrobe, mirror + heated floor in the shower and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. They say that there is still a free tea-coffee-cooler in the lounge, but we did not find them, and we did not look for them - we stayed for one night, it was irrelevant. There is NO safe, hair dryer and refrigerator in the room (two stars, after all, you have to match; ))
Breakfast and check-in are around the corner, in a nearby four-star hotel with the unpronounceable name "Von Stackelberg" (both of these hotels belong to the same Unique Hotels chain). The reception is friendly, speaks a little Russian.
Disliked: steep steps at the entrances to both hotels. It turns out that at first you clatter heavy luggage to the reception of this Von Strudel, and then, having received a card and walking ten meters down the street, you again drag the suitcase up the steps of the City Hotel. On top of that, when entering a four-star hotel, you run the risk of being hit by a trolleybus leaving the corner, because the steps of "Von Stackelberg" almost go out onto the roadway (the specifics of the old building, "adapted" to modern technological progress). In short, be careful. Soundproofing in "City Hotel Tallinn" also leaves much to be desired, but many modern hotels "sin" with this.
In general, we were satisfied with the stay at the hotel, if necessary, we will stop again.
I wish you all pleasant travels and bright impressions! : )
