Unfortunately, I have to draw everyone's attention to the obvious deterioration in the quality and service at the hotel.
Very strongly, in my opinion, simply unacceptable, the quality of food in the restaurant has deteriorated. Especially breakfasts!
In the first year and a half, the cuisine and service were good. BUT NOT NOW!
A double room in July costs 140 euros per night, it's not cheap at all, and it implies a certain quality!
A 4 * hotel has no right to serve such cheap and poorly prepared breakfast dishes! Gray omelette, inedible porridge, the cheapest sausages and very dubious fish meatballs in mayonnaise. Crowd for coffee and tea. . .
Also during our last visit there was a whole series of unpleasant surprises from the hotel:
We checked into the hotel around 20:30. Upon receiving the keys at the reception, we asked what time the restaurant was open. We were told that until 23:00. We are seasoned travelers, and therefore I clarified until what time orders are accepted? I received a clear and intelligible answer before 22:30. As a result, when we went down from the room to the restaurant, at about 10.10 pm, the waiter happily said that we would not be able to have dinner, since the chefs had not been taking orders for half an hour already. I asked to cook us at least something quick and simple, like a salad, but the chefs were adamant!
We returned to the reception and asked to call us a taxi so that we could have dinner somewhere else. We were also "cheerfully" informed that they did not have a taxi, but it might be in 1.5 hours.
Realizing that the hotel apparently dooms us to starvation, despite the bad weather, we were forced to walk to the nearest cafe. 20 minutes walk, no less. The evening was brazenly ruined, and no one even thought to apologize!
To put it mildly, I am not happy with this service.
The aqua center opens at 08:00, but the baths in it for some reason at 11:00, the same thing with the bar in the aqua center, until 11:00 no water can be bought, no juice, no ice cream for children. It's strange somehow! As if the hotel doesn't need the extra money.
My personal conclusion is that this is no longer a 4*! And the hotel management is clearly not a pro! What a pity. . . It was a good place.
The room had 2 bathrobes with holes under the armpits almost in two male fists, which seemed strange for such a hotel.
The breakfast was also not particularly pleasing with its variety: scrambled eggs, inedible salads, in particular with pasta, porridge (decent, you can eat if you are very hungry), sausages, vegetables, tea, coffee, milk, juices.
If you really want to eat, then all this will do, but I think that in a 4 * hotel breakfast could be more varied.
The water center in Meresuu is average, in Toila it is much better.
Near the hotel there is another small hotel where you can eat (both tastier and much cheaper) and spend the night.
The hotel does not reach 4 stars, for such a price (150 euros per day for two) it will be much cheaper to stay in any other hotel and go to the aqua center whenever you want than to pay that kind of money for tattered bathrobes, dust in the room and unassuming food.
