If you have never been to the Dominican Republic before and want to see the unique nature of this beautiful island, then you should definitely visit this hotel. This is certainly not a VIP five, and is already a little outdated, but basically it is a wonderful, beautiful resort, and the price is small. On the territory of the hotel there are a lot of different birds and animals: pelicans, turtles, peacocks, flamingos. All living creatures are almost not at all afraid of the human presence, and many eat directly from their hands with great pleasure. The hotel has the friendliest staff we have ever met. All the guys are very smiling, they always helped, to the best of their ability, and the animators were beyond praise, the child was simply delighted. A couple of times the hotel held a foam party in the pool, fun children's animation during the day, and mini-disco in the evenings. there is a kids club and a playground, but this is not the most important thing. Our 6-year-old daughter could not stop admiring the abundance of birds, you live like in an ornithariat. The food is very good. there was enough in the main restaurant, it was not difficult to feed a child. Every day we tried to diversify the menu. Lots of meat dishes, fruits are always ripe and fresh. There were seafood and fish, but not enough. But you can diversify a la carte. We went to the La Perla fish restaurant several times, if you really wanted to eat fish and seafood, they cooked very tasty, a very good Italian restaurant, I highly advise you to go to a meat restaurant, they cook great steaks. There are also about 5-6 bars scattered around the hotel, I don’t remember exactly. On the beach you can have a hot dog, a hamburger or a delicious burrito. And what delicious cocktails they prepared, you just lick your fingers, all the alcohol is of high quality, rum was poured into cocktails "Barcelo", they did not save. Children can eat delicious ice cream. We were looking for a hotel not very expensive, but with very beautiful nature. They resorted to the help of a travel agent, as they themselves could not make a choice for a long time. The hotel is located in a protected area, and there is a completely untouched nature. There were algae on the beach, but the staff actively fought with them, there were days when there were a lot of them, but in general they swam normally. We went a little to the side, there were much fewer of them and it was more comfortable to swim. The hotel's room fund is already a bit old, and repairs would not hurt, but we were almost never in the room, with such and such nature. At the same time, everything worked fine, the air conditioner made a little noise, the rest did not bother. Cleaning is good and on time, the mini bar is regularly replenished with water and drinks and beer, there is a coffee maker, clean bedding and towels. The hotel has several swimming pools, the most convenient near the beach, there is also a children's area. Loungers were also enough, towels were changed near the beach. The Internet is only 15 minutes a day in the lobby, it was enough for a call, if more, then you already have to pay extra, we did not use it. It was also possible to pay extra for a renovated room closer to the beach, but we refused, our room, although old, suited us. Building 13, close to the lobby, and walking to the beach every day with a child was interesting, through the entire hotel. The hotel is good, quiet and without noisy youth, family run. If you don't pick too much on the rooms, then everything else is fine.
