I didn't find any cons in this hotel. The hotel is just wonderful.
We chose this hotel because of the opportunity to hold a wedding ceremony. Most hotels in the Dominican Republic have a paid service. In Hard Rock - a wedding ceremony for free!

Flying Transaero. The airport in Punto Cana is small. Upon arrival, a lot of people stand and fill out the cards. We were given cards in advance on the plane, which saved time and effort!
In addition, we bought tourist cards in advance (back in Kyiv) on the site https://www. dgii. gov. do ( https://www. dgii. gov. do/Tturistaweb/), again, so as not to stand in queues. Many people write about $20 when leaving the country - as far as I understand, this is for non-scheduled flights. For passengers Transaero was not applied.
Transfer - as elsewhere - We met, loaded, carried.
Hard Rock is the last hotel on the list, so we drove for about an hour.
Settlement.
There are two receptions: regular and VIP.
The VIP receptionist registers newlyweds and important (valuable) guests of the hotel. We registered here as newlyweds + our vouchers were marked “VIP” (This was an initiative of the tour operator, for which thanks : -))
After checking in, after 5 minutes, room service brings us a bottle of French champagne and a cake for newlyweds. 15 minutes after check-in, a girl from the reception calls and asks, “Are we all right. Are there any problems. Are we satisfied with the number, etc. ” Since they didn’t bring us suitcases for a long time, we told about it. After 5 minutes, a porter comes running with our suitcases and with a bunch of apologies, because they just mixed up the floor (they made a mistake in one digit of the room number).
The staff is friendly, smiling and positive.
Territory:
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL large, beautiful, many pools and restaurants (near each building there must be a pool and a restaurant). Music plays throughout the area.
There is a mini-golf club, a gym, a huge spa complex, a huge casino.
Rooms:
Although it was possible to upgrade the room (again, additional options for honeymooners - "up-grade" rooms), we did not want to change our standard room, which was originally offered. It was a very good location of our body: 100-150 meters from the ocean. 50 meters - from the restaurant "ISLA". The room is wonderful, the same as in the catalogs and in the photo on the site!
in the room: double bed 2x2, large chest of drawers, wardrobe, table. In addition: Jacuzzi in the middle of the room, refrigerator (bar), coffee maker (+ a couple of types of brewed coffee and sugar), plasma, iron, ironing board, safe, bathrobes, slippers. Room cleaning TWICE a day!
In the bar room: rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila, beer, cola, sprite, juice, water (cans / bottles 10-12 every day in the fridge was). The bar is updated every day!
Internet in the room and throughout the territory is free.
Beach/Ocean:
The beach is wide and long. There are no problems with sunbeds. Always more than enough. Even at 100% hotel occupancy, there are free sunbeds. Ocean - 28 degrees. The ocean is restless, there were waves, quite large.
For those who like to swim - you are in the pool.
Food/restaurants.
Diverse, for every taste! Italian, American, Mexican, Asian, Caribbean, Cuisine, Steakhouse, Cafe. (If I'm not mistaken: 9 restaurants and 3 cafes).
The previous review talked about a large number of fast food. Complete nonsense! It's just that the hotel has food for every taste: if you want a hamburger / sandwich (by the way, it's just delicious. It's not the poison that we sell at McDonald's) - an American restaurant. Pizza - then you in Italian.
Half of the ala carte restaurants (no appointment). There was a review that wrote about the queues at restaurants in the evening! Also nonsense. There were ALWAYS empty seats! We didn't have to wait in any restaurant.
The food here is super: meat, fish, squid, pasta, shrimp, sushi, fruits, pastries. A variety of alcohol - unmeasured, in any quantities.
When I didn’t want to go to a restaurant, we ordered food to the room (for free), and everything was very tasty.

Spa (procedures, manicures, makeup, hairstyles (I ordered a hairstyle for wedding ceremonies. I was VERY pleased with the result. As for makeup, I didn’t risk it)), excursions, a romantic dinner (lobsters for dinner), in shops (there are special shops) for bonuses you can buy cosmetics, souvenirs, cigars, paintings and all such trifles, BUT there is a TAX (tax) in the amount of 16% of the value of the goods in these stores).
To summarize:
This is the best hotel on the coast of Punta Cana. After this hotel, it is difficult to rest in other places. Everything here is at a high level. No need to look for cons, they are not here. ))))
