When we arrived, the hotel struck us with its size, green area, ocean, white sand beach, but literally on the third or fourth day, a large-scale reconstruction unfolded there, and not just in one place, but a little bit in all the hotels (for example, if yesterday next to the reception of the punta cana palladium there was a beautiful lawn with palm trees and a swimming pool worked, then two days later there was a dug up area with a closed grid and the pool was also blocked), the same was in the bavaro palladium. How soon the work will be completed is unknown, but the fact that we have a week with a Dominican is stretched in time. Of course, there are already enough beautiful corners and places in hotels, the reconstruction did not interfere with us and we really liked it, but we decided to warn. By the way, the food is very diverse, a lot of meat (chicken, pork, veal) in different dishes and in different versions, there is fish, sea dishes - these are mussels, oysters and squid, once they gave a stew with mussels, octopuses, squid. They don't give LOBSTERS, they cost 60 dollars in a la carte. Champagne for breakfast, as they wrote in the forums, is not given, it is not at all - only for money. The cocktails at the lobby bars are just awesome, well, the kiosk bars are certainly worse, but they don’t spare alcohol and the alcohol is not body-drinking (if rum is bacardi or barcelo, if martini is martini). The rooms are cleaned normally, but it's true that even if you leave a tip, they will remove it just like you didn't leave it. Animation on the beach speaks Spanish and English, who wants to take part in entertainment, have fun, and animation at the pools and beaches, in the evening there are shows in theaters or dances or songs, where knowledge of the language is not necessary if you don’t like the show in one theater go to another - we did so. In general, we liked the hotel and if it weren’t for the reconstruction, I recommend it - just remember that you need to go on vacation full of optimism and have fun, and not look for something so bad to tell later.
