I really want to share my stay at the Be Live Canoe 4 * hotel in La Romana Dominican Republic. Our tour operator Tourist Club (in short, it sucks - they were left to themselves). We flew from Kyiv via Paris (I will not talk about our flight, which took almost a day) - finally we arrived in La Romana. It took about 1.5 hours to get to the hotel from the airport - this was the end of the transfer. We were settled - tired, exhausted by the road to the room, which I called "takeoff - landing" (it was opposite the boiler room or something like that) - I was shocked, but after disturbances for $ 10 we were moved to a normal room. The hotel is very quiet, calm - there is something to do at any age. The beach is gorgeous, the food is normal, very varied and the cuisine is European, there is exotic, but not quite intrusive. The only negative is that there are almost no Russians and the tour operator left us on our own and we organized the tour ourselves. There are surprisingly no insects in the hotel (vegetation is sprayed every day and they did not have the opportunity to breed, although outside the hotel they even bite very much). If you want to go on an excursion to Saona Island (ex costs $ 90 per person), then keep in mind that the hotel is much more luxurious than on this trip - it's a pity the whole day spent on such a trip. But in general, we are satisfied with the rest - if anyone needs to answer any questions.
