I've been to this hotel too! Bus tour to the Czech Republic, August 2007. What the esteemed author ghdf_fkgd wrote for his vacation in June 2004, I do not AGREE with many things !!! ! So it was necessary to check into a 5 * hotel, Hilton, for example, which is located near the river, where prices and quality are appropriate !! ! I will never believe that in PRAGUE, in connection with the World Hockey Championship, absolutely ALL hotels were occupied, and only the wretched hotel "DUM" received you...
Actually, this hotel is more specialized in the accommodation of tourist groups!! ! So it's not at all surprising, there were a lot of people there, children who let out free advertising brochures from the balconies. At the expense of food, of course, there are not gourmet dishes, but just a morning snack. BUT, I saw every morning that the Germans sitting at the neighboring tables were very pleased with the food. European level 3 *. This is not Turkey, my dears, where "All Inclusive", eat, at least burst and get drunk!
The rooms are quite normal, 2-room. Cleaned regularly and carefully! As for the elevators, I’ll say that there are hitches, BUT, sorry, this is a public elevator, not a personal one with delivery directly to the bed! In the morning, a light bulb burned out in our toilet, we turned to the reception and left for an excursion. Returning to the room, everything was ok! The light bulb is in place, there is light, the room is clean, there is soap, the towels are clean every day. What else do you need ???
For tourists who come to Prague on excursions, this is a good place to relax at night. We slept, had breakfast - and go on an excursion to explore the city! This hotel is not intended for VIP accommodation.
