After excursions, they came and fell))) By the way, their beds are excellent) And most importantly, it is so quiet, it feels like you are alone in the hotel. But in fact, at breakfast you can immediately see that it is 60-70% full. Since we were alone with my husband, the children will definitely be bored, or if they are passing through (transit), then it’s normal.

2. Hotel: 4 stars is quite consistent. Room for two is more than adequate, clean. Shower cabin, hot water all the time. On TV 1-2 Russian channels. Wi-Fi is free, in the room it catches well, the speed is decent. Check-in, as elsewhere at 14-00, check-out at 12-00. Meals - breakfast, buffet, you can always eat. Cheeses, sausages, pastries are excellent. Edible salads, fruits and vegetables, muesli, etc.
3. City: charming. Everything is within walking distance. Before the Cathedral of St. Vita walked, a little tiring, it is better to go by tram. Excursions are not bought, everything can be seen and so. There are a lot of tourists in the center. Money was changed in an Arab exchange office, they have no commission, and the rate is higher than in the center.
4. Shopping: we bought only souvenirs, it is better to buy at the "bazaar" between Charles Bridge and Old Town Square, much cheaper than in shops. Crystal is very expensive.
5. Food: ate right on the Old Town Square in the "Old Town Restaurant". Very tasty and 2-3 times cheaper than on the street. Drop dead beer, you can drink it forever, boar's knee overeating.
In general, the holiday was a success. For those who do not lie like a seal on a sunbed in Turkey, they will love it.

We rested in Prague at the end of November 2011, together with my husband. Quiet rest, there is nothing for children to do here. The hotel is small but very cosy. Liked the breakfasts too. No one in the hotel spoke Russian, but this did not prevent us from communicating with the Czechs - everything is clear; ) The hotel itself is located in a very advantageous place, in short - we recommend it !!! !. … More ▾ We rested in Prague at the end of November 2011, together with my husband. Neither I nor my husband are fully fluent in languages, but we did not experience a language barrier in this hotel. Not everyone at the reception speaks Russian, but this did not lead to the formation of a language barrier. Service at the hotel corresponds to the declared 4 stars - towels changed every day, cleaning after 2 days. We are very satisfied with the breakfasts offered - the menu is varied and there is a large selection. It is worth noting that there are very few Russian contingents in it - mostly Americans, French and British. During our stay, we met two Russian-speaking couples - from Ukraine. The location of the hotel is not bad - 3 minutes walk to the National Museum. But the gathering of our group was at the powder gate, and this is 15 minutes on foot. But in the center of Prague! I strongly recommend this hotel - the quality of the reception corresponds to the declared level, the prices are not very high. About the fact that they say everything is bad - a lie, it means that he behaved like in Turkey on "all inclusive", because this is Europe, rednecks are not held in high esteem.

Rested with my husband in Prague from 21.09 to 28.09. 2011. Somewhere in the reviews I read that the rooms are noisy if the windows face the street, our windows overlooked the avenue but you couldn’t hear the cars at all. Costs - dairy products, fruits, tea, coffee, pastries, scrambled eggs, cheeses, sausages in general, hungry did not stay. I do not recommend using the mini bar - very expensive, everything the same can be bought much cheaper in stores. They cleaned the room at the request, at the reception they speak both Russian and English, so there were no misunderstandings. In general, we are satisfied with the hotel, but there are simply no words about the rest, a stunningly beautiful city. I recommend taking excursions.

"Rest in Prague at the DownTown Hotel" Rested with a friend in Prague from 08/22/2011 to 08/29/2011. I liked the tour very much. It was called "Three Capitals". We stayed at the Downtown Hotel. Fed, however, not bad, and not far from Wenceslas Square: 5 minutes walk. But our eviction from the hotel was just amazing! We were asked to pay for drinking mineral water, which was not on the list of items payable. At 12-00 we paid 130 kroons, and when we arrived in the evening for things in the storage room, they began to demand another 260 kroons from us !! ! At the same time, they were also insulted (by the way, here we heard Russian speech for the first time at the reception): allegedly we "were torn off the price tags in bottles of mineral water (I quote! ) To cover our tracks"!!! ! The holiday experience was ruined. But the hotel declares itself as a four-star. Well, God be their judge! But I do not advise the Russians to rest in this hotel!
