I live in the Czech Republic, but, surprisingly, I had never been to Karlovy Vary until August of this year. And then my husband and I decided to get some treatment, and indeed to relax and chose one of the most famous hotels - thermal. Moreover, it is inexpensive... But in vain we saved.
Honestly, I did not expect such a "scoop".
Cleaning - just a shock! Towels were changed only when forced to do so. They left a tip - it didn’t help: they returned, the bed was made in haste, the floor was dirty, yesterday’s towels....
Food sucks. As luck would have it, we took full board so as not to bother. I had to eat it... Especially breakfasts. A whole bun and a whole cold omelet. . . It's impossible to eat, sorry.
Treatment leaves much to be desired. A mess in the organization, everyone rushes about like mad, there is no "soul". Although, on the other hand, it’s stupid to want it for that kind of money...
The only definite plus of this hotel is its location and its swimming pool.

In the very heart of the city, you look at the beauty that is not found in any other Czech city. In terms of architecture, I liked Vary more than Prague.
It's a pity that such an amazing place is occupied by such a mediocre hotel. . .
