A nightmarish night in a smoky hotel Vltava
Attention, dear tourists! Remember this hotel in Č eský Krumlov - Vltava, advertised as 3-star. On our 9 day and amazing tour in the best way, he was a transit on the way back from the Czech Republic, before Poland. I have never endured a greater nightmare in my life, even in the Crimea, far from being an exemplary resort. This smoky and smelly, thin-walled flophouse (I can't even call it a hotel) will be remembered by me and my daughter for a long time. Attention to those who do not smoke and cannot stand cigarette smoke! It seems that everything here is soaked with smoke: walls, furniture and even a fresh bed. An hour later, I no longer had enough air in the most direct sense, and yet there was still a whole night ahead...
We must start with the fact that when we settled in this institution and my daughter (who unfortunately had a terrible attack of migraine and pressure that day, sorry for the details, but you will understand why they are), and so, my daughter only dreamed of to fall asleep - alas... On such a pillow one could do anything, but not sleep. Apparently, she was footballed before, boxed, well, I don’t know what else, but this is not a pillow, this is a bag stuffed with stones. Well, with grief in half, they searched for a woman for a long time, then they waited a long time for her already with a pillow. It was late, but we didn't manage to fall asleep. Young people indulged in pleasures through the wall (I'm not a hypocrite, it's a young thing, let it be for my health and joy, but why should I hear these moans from my 16-year-old daughter, who also has a broken head? ). Everything was heard. And by morning, I thought I would suffocate and looked like a fish opening its mouth. I opened the window a hundred times a night to let the air in, then closed it so as not to freeze (after all, the end of January). Then she spat and decided that it was better to freeze than to suffocate from the smoke. Then it began to seem to me that the smoke was coming from the window, from the street (our room was on the 2nd floor). Basically, I felt like I was going crazy.
Understand, I'm not picky, but elementary service had to be provided, at least the right to sleep. Not to mention the torn-off toilet handle (like in the most seedy student dorm) and the shower door not tight, through which water spills. Well, at least I noticed in time, otherwise I would have caused a flood through no fault of my own. And this, sorry, service? ! It is a pity that our trip to the Czech Republic was a little overshadowed by such an ending. Although, I am sure, after a while the best will be remembered. And the impressions from the Czech Republic, thank God, we have are simply amazing, especially from Prague, Kutna Hora, Moravian Karst... Why did I write all this? If you are in Cesky Krumlov - never stay in Vltave!
