We rested in Marlit in June, the weather is super, the sea is wonderful, clean. The beach is clean, small, but there were always enough places. For children it is better not to come up with - finely. Those who want to go deeper can swim to the buoys - there is blue water and a beautiful view of the coast.

Sunbeds on the beach are paid, we did not take, because. nearby sunbeds on the lawn and near the pool, 2 steps away free.
The hotel itself is not new. At first we were placed in building D, the room on the 1st floor is generally not bad: apartments with a kitchen, new plumbing, clean. But the furniture is old and has a strong smell. They asked us to move, thanks to the helpful staff, especially our compatriot Vera, they moved a day later to the new building F. It's perfect there: everything is new, clean, beautiful. They were very satisfied. The room was also on the 1st floor, but the balcony overlooked the backyard, where it is quiet and calm, and we didn’t order a sea view, it doesn’t matter.
They write that there is no WI-FI in building F, we solved this issue, we bought it at the neighboring Papantonia hotel, there is only one hotel chain, it is close to our building, so no problem!
You can write a lot more, but most importantly, the impressions were unforgettable from Cyprus, Protaras, Marlita thanks to the friendly Cypriots, the sea and the weather!! ! We will definitely come there again!

We went to Cyprus for the first time, but I hope not the last, we really, really liked Cyprus, original and different! We chose the hotel for the price, we stopped at Merlita because it was not expensive and we planned only to spend the night and eat (breakfasts and dinners). Check-in was April 23, and it's not the season yet.

There are few tourists, animation too, quiet and very calm evenings. The best case is F, it is new. We were placed in building C 14. Subjectively, cleaning every day, the rooms are old, the doors to the toilet did not close, the towels were old, the refrigerator was rusty, the ants! There were a lot of them, and they climbed from May 1, along with the opening of the season, they probably began to poison, so they climbed into the rooms. With the opening of the season, there are also many tourists, and all shops and cafe-restaurants open, until this time it is still quiet, the city is spacious, all shops are open, restaurants are not. The sea is still cool, but by May 1st it became warm.
The weather is unpredictable, the cream from the burn, it is the burn, because you burn out instantly due to the wind, you have to wear it all the time. We went for a walk along the beaches under the clouds, there was no trace of the clouds going back, this was an hour of time. The strong wind subsides in the evening and the sea is warmer in the evening, as it seemed to me. The evenings are cool, they wore blouses. The beach near Merlita is protected from waves, small, but you can swim, there are better beaches nearby, we were on a new beach every day. The food for breakfast is the same every day, but the choice is normal, for dinner a couple of dishes change, drinks at dinner are paid. They cook well, the dishes are oriented towards the British, with a crust, I personally really liked ALL the baked meat, they couldn’t gnaw the kebabs, what they wrote about the British they like with a crust and dried. There are few fish, a one-fish dish for the evening, mostly meat and salads, for dinner 2 cakes and jelly, and fruits. But the choice is large, for all tastes. I also liked that there was no Egyptian sycophancy, Cypriots, if they want to smile, smile with soul, they love children very much! We wanted to try Meze, the chef advised to go to the restaurant "Taverna" not far from Merlita, but it seems that the staff there "process" where to go for tourists, in general, do not go to the "TAVERN" meze there is disgusting 40 euros, all from frozen fish. only one was fresh. We went to Aya Napa, there really is a party city, Protaras is different, quieter and more family friendly. We rented a car for 5 days with a child seat and a full tank for 170 euros. Internet is paid, 10 euros a week.

They settled us quickly. The administrator Igor really liked, he always suggested a lot of interesting things. The room is spacious and clean. A crib was already waiting for us in the room. a room and a nanny (albeit a little expensive). I liked the food, there were no comments. I really liked the fruit pie !! ! I recommend the hotel!! !.

I will not write much, if you have any questions, please contact me. My husband and I went on vacation, for a long time we could not decide on the country, when we decided, we didn’t even bother with the hotel. When they brought us, we immediately went to look at everything. At first they could not make out where the territory of the hotel begins and ends, few people speak Russian, very few!! ! Having examined the territory, we went for a walk to the sea, the first coastline, the lagoon, is clean, the entrance is sandy and pebbly, a beach with a clean sandy entrance is 15-20 minutes walk away, although the embankment itself is strewn with gobies and lined with sunbeds.

And there you can also go to the main street of Protaras, where there are many cafes, shops, there is a pharmacy with a Russian-speaking pharmacist.
We rested from 02.06 to 13.06, the weather was tolerably hot, the breeze was constantly blowing. The sea was still cool, but you can swim.
Fed at the hotel delicious (All inclusive). Husband liked the local beer. They drank local wine only on excursions, I didn’t like it, I don’t like dry wines.
From the excursions we chose: "A fun day for the whole family" - donkey riding, a mini-zoo, lunch. "Sea safari" - sailed on the sea on a pirate ship, not far from the coast, swam in the blue lagoon, watched the caves, "Real Cyprus" - visiting the nunnery, male monastery, the village of Lefkara, which is famous for its silver and embroidery, lunch. I liked everything, though it was a difficult journey from the women's to the men's monastery, we drove along the serpentine, constant turns make us sick, many people felt bad, but the spectacle is certainly beautiful.
Animation at the hotel was also, in the morning water aerobics, table tennis, darts, water polo, boccia, football, volleyball. In the evening, a children's disco, animators entertain the kids, then the bingo game begins, we also got carried away, even won, then the animators sing and dance. It was fun. All the staff are very friendly and try to learn Russian. They say that they did not expect such a number of Russian tourists, there have been a lot of them over the past two years. So they try.

The hotel is very well located - a quiet place about a kilometer from the center of Protaras, the first coastline. It consists of several four-story buildings equipped with elevators. The rooms are large, consist of several rooms, depending on the category chosen - a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom (or two) separately, a combined bathroom and a balcony (we had a corner balcony, so small that a table with two chairs barely fit).

The rooms are large, consist of several rooms, depending on the category chosen - a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom (or two) separately, a combined bathroom and a balcony (we had a corner balcony, so small that a table with two chairs barely fit). The kitchenette includes - a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, an electric built-in panel with two burners, an extractor hood (for some reason it did not work for us - number E06), a cabinet with a set of dishes - various plates, glasses, cups, spoons, forks, knives , a frying pan, a saucepan, a colander, a salad bowl, a couple of bowls, a corkscrew, a ladle, spatulas.
The TV is in the living room, the remote control is at the reception for a deposit of 10 euros. You can also get beach towels for the same amount. The bedroom has separate beds with bedside tables, a hair dryer next to the dressing table, a huge spacious closet with lots of hangers. One of them has a built-in electronic safe, also quite roomy, the cost of using it is 2 euros per day). There is no dryer on the balcony. Therefore, take care of the rope and clothespins. True, the hotel has such a service as washing and drying in automatic washing machines - 3 euros up to 8 kg of washing per load and 2 euros for drying. Can only be washed. The laundry is located behind building E.
There are Russian-speaking employees at the reception, but they do not meet every day. The staff tries to speak English but understands even worse than they speak.
The hotel operates on the system HB or "all inclusive". The latter is absolutely not justified, with the exception of lovers of free booze.
English-type breakfasts, monotonous, are boring, but there is only one alternative - you can skip and cook yourself. In a restaurant in the morning, as a rule, 3 types of juices (grapefruit is the most delicious, with pulp), very diluted drinks, several types of coffee from vending machines, black tea, milk. Muesli-balls-flakes, 3 types of cheese, sausage, ham, vegetables in the form of cucumber-tomatoes, olives, 3 standard types of egg dishes (boiled, scrambled eggs and fried eggs), fried bacon, stewed beans, baked tomato, fried bread, steamed types of croissants, sour cream, yogurt, 3 types of jam, honey. From fruits - either grapefruit or orange + canned peaches and pears.
What they give for lunch - I don’t know, we had half board.
Dinner is different every day, usually themed. One kind of the first is more often a cream soup. Vegetables separately and in the form of salads, black and green olives, 3 types of meat - beef, chicken, lamb or pork, fish (either stewed fillet or fried) sometimes there are seafood. Rice is always a side dish, potatoes alternate with pasta with various sauces, sometimes there is pizza. Ice cream, a couple of cakes, jelly pudding and fruits - plums, pears, hard peaches, grapes, apples, bananas, melon. Drinks at dinner are paid for those who have HB. Write down on the number to pay at the check-out. I do not advise you to do this, they pricked up. Better to pay in cash. The prices are atomic - a cup of tea is equivalent to a glass of beer and costs 2.5 euros, a glass of juice 3.5 euros (and in a nearby supermarket opposite the Papantonia hotel, this beer and juice will be several times cheaper).
The territory of the hotel will not say that it is very large, but still. One drawback, in my opinion, but quite significant. Building E is adjacent to the Anastasia Hotel. Therefore, all evening animation will be yours without leaving your room. As well as the daily work of air conditioners in the hotel restaurant. For those whose rooms faced the sea, it was really Anastasia's pool, from which it smelled of sewage.
In addition to the buildings, 2 swimming pools - one of them for children, and a green terrace with sun loungers, umbrellas, tables and hammocks for free. And to the sea from this terrace is only 20-50 m. The beach is sandy, sunbeds are paid for 2.5 euros. The entrance to the sea is sandy and pebbly, there are also boulders. The sea was transparent, the water temperature was about 25 degrees in early October, there was no sweltering heat. The so-called "velvet season" was coming to an end. A couple of times there was a thunderstorm, spectacular as it should be. Protaras itself is quite quiet, there are few cars on the streets, and there are not too many people either. We enjoyed walking along the resort’s embankment equipped with lamps in the evening, walked along it to the center of the resort (if by bus, it turns out much longer), sat on the benches, listened to the surf and breathed the sea air. There is no entertainment as such and any kind of "hanging out" in the hotel and nearby places, for this you need to go to Ai-Napa (bus 102 costs 1 euro from the nose).
The hotel is good for lovers of a relaxing holiday, older couples. families with very young children. Young people and schoolchildren can be bored, despite the fact that there is a mini-water park near Anastasia, but it is far from free. A large water park is located in Ai Napa and costs 32 euros for an adult with a transfer.
