May holidays in Paphos
I want to describe the May holidays in Cyprus. Since there are few days in May, I would like something interesting, unusual and memorable, since I have already been to Cyprus, there were no problems with the excursion, there are also many unexplored places from Paphos. I chose the hotel in a historical style, a castle with frescoes, painted walls and an old interior. Hotel Roman 3 *, small, but two buildings and two pools, one of them on the roof. Buffet breakfasts and dinners, a large selection of dishes, you can dine very tasty in the same restaurant in the hotel, prices are reasonable, portions are large. The beach is within walking distance, but somehow unsightly, you can drive a little on a local bus and in front of you will be a great beach, turquoise sea and white sand, although a place with a sunbed and an umbrella is paid.
In early May, the air had already warmed up, sunbathing, the sea was still cool, but people were already swimming, enjoying the sea water and the sun. Since there is little time for rest, I wanted to be in time and take advantage of the sunny days and see something. Therefore, we took a car with a driver - a guide and one day drove around some sights, in particular the birthplace of Aphrodite, a spectacular place, though very small, buses with tourists come here, who immediately jump into the water (according to legend, if someone swims in this place, miraculous transformations take place - youth and beauty return to women, and men become strong and courageous).
We visited several monasteries and a winery that only a few people work, tasted several varieties, I will tell you excellent quality wine, and returned to the hotel with full positive I am very glad that I took advantage of the weekend with health benefits, sea air, sand, relaxation, at this time the city is full of bright colors of bougainvillea and lavender.
