My wife and I rested in Thalassa Coral Bay in September 2018. We were greeted and accommodated excellently. There are no children in the hotel. The hotel is great but expensive. My wife and I rested in Thalassa Coral Bay in September 2018. We were greeted and accommodated excellently. There are no children in the hotel. The hotel is great but expensive. And the price does not match the content. It does not correspond to five stars, in our opinion this is a four-star hotel.
From the holiday left a pleasant memory. Firstly, the wonderful Coral Bay with an excellent sandy bottom and optimal depths, clear water in the sea. A public sandy beach is located nearby. But the hotel has its own entry into the water - along a wooden gangway right from the hotel. Although this ladder could be done more decently. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard of the hotel, the British are constantly lying around it, who do not swim in the sea at all. The hotel is quiet, no children. The food is good.
From the hotel we made two wonderful excursions to the Troodos mountains (one of them by jeeps), I think that without such trips, rest in Cyprus is incomplete.
Next to this hotel is the Coral Beach Hotel, which is also owned by the Sentido Group. We decided that next time we will come there - it is cheaper and less boring there, there are more compatriots, and the conditions for recreation are almost the same.
It is necessary to say separately about the courtesy and responsiveness of the staff. It can be seen that great importance is attached to this, and it really makes a very good impression.
It was all the more unpleasant to discover the nasty behavior of the maids on the 6th floor (we lived in room 629). It seems to us that they were either Georgians or Abkhazians; both Russian speakers. The fact that they did not lay out everything from the items of use in the shower is nonsense. The other one was much more annoying. There was a basket for clean towels in the bathroom. And suddenly one day, after cleaning and allegedly changing towels, I found a characteristic spot on one of them - an old, used towel. That is, they took used towels, carefully folded them, and returned them to the basket for clean ones. So, with the towel that I used to wipe various causal places this morning, my wife can wipe, for example, her face in the evening! I was shocked.
Arranging an inspection the next day was a matter of technique. Everything happened again! After that, in the remaining three days before departure, we hung a “Do Not Disturb” sign and in fact refused to clean. Still, later I regretted that I did not go to the administrators and did not tell about this disgrace. I have never seen anything like this anywhere! Here is a five-star hotel for you. Future visitors - pay attention to my story!
