Good day!
Had a chance to rest in Cyprotel Florida in the first half of July 2017. The impressions were very contradictory, the saddest of which was the initial placement. We ended up in an incomprehensibly existing room in this hotel, located on the "minus first floor", but in fact in the basement. As it turned out, there are "only four" such rooms in the hotel. Moreover, the room, in my opinion, is not suitable for accommodating guests. The furniture in it is unusable. There is mold in the bathroom, the ceilings are so low that getting into the bath to take a shower, I, with a height of 186 cm, rested my head on the ceiling. Even in the bathroom there were open contacts of the lighting lamp, it was quite spray from the shower that could short-circuit the power supply. The beds are on wheels, constantly rolling at the slightest touch, the mattresses are visibly tired. The window / balcony overlooks (at floor level! ) Immediately onto a platform with pools, the nearest of which is five meters from the window - for children, from where wild noise is constantly heard - yelling, squealing, crying children, yelling, swearing, their parents smoke, and , as a result, neither day nor night (for security reasons) the window could not be left open. In the same basement, where the room in which we were placed, is also located - a kitchen, utility rooms for staff, a sauna, toilets for pool visitors, a children's room without (oh, horror! ) A single window, a dressing room, which also does not leave a minute peace and quiet for vacationers. Above the room, on the ground floor, there is a bar that is open until one in the morning, which does not give any chance to fall asleep before this time. And at 7 o'clock in the morning you will definitely be woken up by the cleaning of the above bar. In general, I don’t know what these 4 such rooms are, but the hotel proudly calls them Standart Sea View, referring to the fact that they “look towards the sea”, despite the fact that no sea is visible from the room and you can’t relax in these rooms succeed. Photo below.
It should be noted that when I entered the room, I did not stay there for even a minute and, without unpacking my suitcases, returned to the administrator, said that the room was frankly shit and that I wanted another one, but I was politely told that there were no other rooms. I tried to explain that I paid for the Standard Sea View, and not for the cockpit in the basement, but, as you already know from my story, these concepts are somewhat different for me and the hotel. In general, the next release of a normal room was planned in two days, and I had no choice but to stay in the basement room for these two days, during my stay in which I received a lot of the above unpleasant impressions.

As I later figured out, the hotel rooms are located on floors from the first to the fourth, but we were placed not only not on the first or fourth, but not even on the basement, but in the basement, under the basement!
Two days after our stay in the basement, we were kindly allowed to move to a regular room, which differed from the previous one in better amenities and, most importantly, silence. In the last three photos, the view is already from a normal room.
The rooms are cleaned thoroughly and often, towels are changed every day, there was always hot water, and even during peak hours the pressure was normal.
Next, a little more about the hotel itself. The interior of the hotel is in many ways similar to a sanatorium or pioneer camp from the times of the USSR, but at the same time everything is smeared, painted, clogged with plywood, washed and cleaned to the maximum (but I remember mold). Located on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, but the city itself is so small that this is even a plus. The staff is somehow gloomy, tortured, impatiently efficient. The restaurant is the most ordinary, I expected more from the variety and quality of food, it doesn’t even pull on Turkey. Dishes were often dirty. The restaurant is not spacious enough, it often happened that those who wanted to taste dinner did not have enough seats and they waited for someone to finish their meal. During breakfast, I had to eat on the open terrace, where tables and chairs were often fouled by the ubiquitous sparrows. Outdoor swimming pool a la paddling pool, just a dip, very small. There are also not enough sunbeds by the pool. The children's pool is an ordinary puddle 3x3m, the children's club is a terrible room without windows with "cold" lighting. The hotel has a free car park; I used it because I rented a car. The hotel has two elevators, but they work so strangely that we hardly used them because we didn’t want to wait for them for 10 minutes at all. You can’t even call a gym a gym, six or seven antediluvian simulators and nothing else, for two weeks I didn’t see a single person there. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and in the rooms, but the maximum speed limit for the connection is not set, so if someone pulls something heavy, then, roughly speaking, the rest cannot even read the mail. The entrance to the room is opened not by an electronic card, but by a key. The safe is also not push-button, but with an ordinary lock, you had to carry the key to it with you everywhere, for the loss of which - 5 euro fine). The safe, by the way, is paid. Are there really guests who have nothing to put in the safe? Well, at least everyone comes with passports and at least some money. It costs 3 euros per day or 14 euros per week (such as a wholesale price of 2 euros per day). But if you need a safe, for example, for 12 days, then you will have to pay either for two full weeks 2x14=28 or for a week and five days 1x14+5*3=29. Why it cannot be calculated as 2x12=24 I do not understand, although no, I understand - redneck. The use of the refrigerator in the room is free of charge. That's all the infrastructure.

The beach is really close, 200 meters, and a comfortable sidewalk leads to it. On the beach sunbeds and umbrellas for 2.5 euros each. On the beach, a man in a faded red T-shirt sells delicious boiled corn from a thermo box for 2 euros.
In general, speaking about the hotel, except for the first two days, it could be bearable. But it doesn’t pull on 4 stars, except for 4 Egyptian stars...
Thanks.
