Knowing that Cubans love gifts, we brought chocolate from Russia and gave it away upon check-in, which played a big role in choosing a room. Cleaning always took place at 5 (because every day they left the maid all sorts of knick-knacks: hairpins, varnish, beads, etc. ). But everything else is a complete nightmare. I'll start with the beach. The beach is never cleaned, for two days algae can fall, which it regularly throws ashore. Regarding the sunbeds: they came at 8.00, everyone was busy, although it is written everywhere that the sunbeds should not be occupied. Towels are regularly stolen, both on the beach and by the pools. Keep an eye on the towels, otherwise leave a tidy sum there. With catamarans, the same story, huge queues, but even if you stood in this queue, it’s not a fact that they will give you one. My child, 8 years old, was generally driven off the catamaran and given to the Argentines. If you are not Spanish-speaking, then you are second class. I even had to swear. The same was true in the bar. Now about nutrition. I have not yet observed the worst food, only if in Egypt. If you are 40-45 minutes late for lunch, you literally remain hungry. They are reluctant to put meat, but at least eat vegetables (green tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers and that's all). There were shrimp twice, and once mussels, this is from the fact that we were there for 13 days. After two or three days, mangoes were given for dinner. From rotten pineapples they made fresh-vanyuk juice. Regarding the mini bar in the room, which was supposed to be filled every day with cola, fanta, beer - 2 cans of each, instead they gave only water. If you are going to this particular hotel, I can advise: buy a Spanish phrase book, chocolate and trinkets, maybe this will somehow brighten up your vacation. The hotel sucks. The next day we had dinner at the Oshin Chinese Restaurant. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious varied menu - everyone liked it. Steakhouse - also pleased, the meat was cooked deliciously. I can't say anything about other restaurants - we didn't visit.

We went to Cayolargo, fed iguanas, local rats the size of hares, admired dolphins and enjoyed the white sand and the Caribbean sea. During the voyage, they also prepared lobsters for us, but it was not the same, those that we caught ourselves were inimitable! I was also struck by the animation at the hotel, it was all performed by professionals! The water show by the pool is simply amazing! You will not see such numbers not in Egypt, not in Turkey, and nowhere in the hotel. Cubans just go out of their way to entertain guests! For the first time I saw the whole hotel dancing, the Cubans were so lit, shirts burst on the men and they sang everything live and without microphones !! ! Professional Cuban ensembles played incendiary music and it was impossible to stand still. By night the hotel turned into one dancing mass! My husband, who does not dance in principle, danced in such a way that he then held on to his heart. And of course their cocktails: majito, daiquiri and pina colada are amazing!! ! We took with us a wonderful black seven-year-old rum, cigars, souvenirs from nature. materials and royal mangoes you won't find anywhere else! Drinking majito from Cuban rum with friends at home, eating a unique mango, we told them about Cuba, reinforcing the words with photos and videos and regretted that the vacation was over so quickly!! !

And now only about the good, the weather was amazing, like the ocean, sometimes the breeze was not pleasant, but we swam every day. They had fun at 100: on the beach, by the pool, in the lobby on the 1st and 2nd floors. , for dinner you can sign up for restaurants (at least every day), I know 5, went to 3. The rest was excellent in general, the little things that I described did not annoy us, we rested in 2009 in Bluy Varadero (excellent), and now The holiday was gorgeous, you already knew. . and did not pay attention to these little things, excursions are expensive, but it’s a sin not to allow one, you’ll like it. The room was cleaned well, every day we left tips and soft toys that I brought from Ukraine. At the end of the rest, the maid caught us in the corridor and almost with tears in her eyes thanked us for the toys that she gave to her little niece. It was very nice.
The restaurant served delicious food, I really liked the pizza. In the morning, the girls were met at the entrance to the restaurant and offered champagne. As they said in the film, "Champagne is drunk in the morning either by aristocrats or degenerates. " Let's take the first option =))

Beach. Gorgeous beach, lots of sun loungers, white sand and azure water. They took a catamaran, rode along the coast, saw how the locals catch small octopuses there. The bartenders are very cheerful, they make cocktails while singing and dancing.
Tours. We visited Havana, took an individual tour for four, we also had a Russian-speaking guide and driver with us. We spent the whole day in the capital, visited only those places that we wanted. We visited the old and new parts of the city. We tried beer at a local brewery, had lunch at a rooftop restaurant.
We also took an excursion to the island of Cayo Largo. Take ham with you to feed the iguanas. Be sure to take light clothes, it is very easy to burn out, you are constantly under the open sun. I really liked the tour, I advise you not to spare money and be sure to see all this beauty with your own eyes. Just don’t forget your passports, because our friends didn’t get their passports stuck, the tour operator didn’t remind them, and they didn’t think of it when they were awake, and naturally they weren’t let on the plane at the airport. Plus, they forgot to pick them up from the hotel, they went by taxi to the airport. The money for the tour was also not returned to them.
The road back was very difficult, a small hurricane began, we got to the airport for a long time, the flight was delayed for 3 hours. We had a transfer in Amsterdam with an hour difference between flights and naturally we missed our second plane. We were given vouchers for food and a hotel room at the airport, and in the morning we flew home.

The road back was very difficult, a small hurricane began, we got to the airport for a long time, the flight was delayed for 3 hours. We had a transfer in Amsterdam with an hour difference between flights and naturally we missed our second plane. We were given vouchers for food and a hotel room at the airport, and in the morning we flew home.

So HOTEL. Even though it says 4 stars, it deserves 5 stars.
I'll start with the SETTLEMENT. There are two options, a hotel and a bungalow. I liked the hotel more (but it's a matter of taste). Paying extra 15 pesos per day and you will be offered a large two-room suite (a junior suite, it seems) with a huge balcony. I was extremely pleased with the room, they also replaced Te with a plasma one. Spacious bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioners, two wardrobes, a safe, mirrors.
FOOD. The buffet has a huge selection, everything is delicious and fresh. And in the evenings we always booked a restaurant (there are 4 of them on the territory of the hotel). I want to note the Italian restaurant, it was gorgeous. and also full of eateries on the beach, by the pool, snack bars. Nobody was hungry. Even at 3 am you can have a bite.
PUBLIC. There were plenty of Russians, there was a continuous Russian speech all around (the beach was jokingly called Red Square). Argentines arrived later. During my stay there were Russians and Argentines, a few Germans, Dutch, Canadians. The audience is not old, there are few children. In general, young people and middle-aged people. I want to note that the Argentines are wonderful and friendly people.
ANIMATION. It was just great!!!!! ! For five plus !! ! Charging at sea, aqua aerobics, volleyball, competitions. Yoga, bingo, salsa by the pool. Every day the workers came up with something new and amused the audience. In the evenings, musicians always performed in the lobby, and at 10 pm the show began, and the plot never repeated itself. VERY talented people work at the resort. After each show, those who wished to dance with the dancers. It was insanely fun. And every day a night disco club is open until 2 am with modern music. Even Russian songs were included. We were there every day.
BEACH. Large, clean, sandy, lots of umbrellas, sun loungers.
THE SHOPS. Excellent shops in the hotel. Good prices and selection. A Russian-speaking woman from Moscow works in the store with things. But I advise you to go to the Cuban bazaar in Varadero (10 pesos from the hotel by taxi). Souvenirs and fakes made of wood and leather and metal are just full. Eyes run up and I want to buy everything.
I was very pleased with the rest and the hotel. It was fun, I didn’t have to be bored for a minute. I took part in all the animations. I love Cuba with all my heart, the place pulls again and again. Cubans are charming people. Smiles, songs, dances. And what else is needed for a good rest?
