We had building 32, just behind the beach restaurant and overlooking the sea, as the windows and balcony faced outside. Friends had a room next to us, we only mentioned it and were given rooms next to us. But I advise you to take simple hygiene items from home, tights or ordinary felt-tip pens or pencils, chocolates, and then the quality of service and room cleaning will improve significantly. We gave a couple of chocolates at the reception, we also left presents for the maids, a couple of cookies in the bar, and we can safely say that the service has increased by at least an asterisk)). After all, do not forget that most hotels and other things in Cuba are state-owned, at least in part, and of course, due to the fact that the country is far from rich, then people do not receive high salaries. . The rooms are of course weak, even for 4, but given the fact that this is Cuba, I can say that they deserve approval, if only because the staff carefully cleans and tries to please customers. And also throughout the hotel, very often learning that we are from Russia, we were given more attention and gave more smiles. It was for the positive and the bright sun that we flew here to enjoy the sea and endless dances. But most importantly, the hotel has a beautiful and most importantly clean beach. Plenty of sunbeds, never ran out of them. The ocean is blue, without algae and very warm, plus we found great weather, no rain, only clouds sometimes, but even then it was warm. And also about the hotel there is an interesting entertainment program, in the lobby, in the theater, and on the beach, near and in the pools, we all always had fun. Dancing, live music and just exercising took place in an atmosphere of joy. And just as good and always delicious food, a lot of meat, fish, seafood. There were few fruits, and some vegetables, since it is not yet the season, but they were still. You can go to restaurants on the menu, but also nothing special, and only Steakhouse and Italian we liked more than the others. You can get to the center of Varadero by bus, there is almost no entertainment outside the hotel, but we wanted a quiet holiday, so we really liked the hotel, and especially the beach.

There is a beach bar and a restaurant. But the restaurant is so-so, a modest choice is better to dine in the main restaurant. The food is very good and varied. Fresh juices, seafood, etc. everything is there! Plus 5 a la carte restaurants. This is a great variety for dinner. Interesting show in Japanese. All restaurants by appointment. For the price of a hotel, the food is excellent. Internet is paid, like almost everywhere in Cuba. The staff speaks English. There are no Russian speaking staff. Although some learn to understand a couple of three words) Rooms with good repair, normal furniture. Free safe, iron and ironing board. There is no kettle. Minibar for a fee but can be used just as a refrigerator. Good cleaning for Cuba is rare) Change of linen, towels, replenishment of bathroom accessories all on time. There is a VIP CONCEPT but you should not take it! Just overpay for a mini bar and various unnecessary little things. Water shimmers with all modulations of blue, turquoise and blue! The water is clear at almost any depth you can see the bottom. It even has its own small reef with fish. On the beach you can take a free kayak or catamaran for half an hour. The sand is fine, fine, white and fluffy, I have never seen such beauty of the beach even in the Dominican Republic. There are no algae, the beach is constantly cleaned, there are a lot of free sunbeds, anytime and anywhere. The second is, of course, entertainment. Bus stop next to the hotel. We went almost every day to the center of Varadero to the clubs, and from there we returned to the hotel by taxi almost in the morning. Been to many establishments, and never in the same place. Everyone liked it, each in their own way. In the hotel itself, the animation is unobtrusive, in the evenings they hold shows in the amphitheater, they only went to the Michael Jackson show, it was interesting and colorful. After the show, discos were held, but we liked to relax in the clubs more. The hotel itself, like most scoop-style hotels in Cuba, is not new, but differs in cost. T The territory is huge and well-groomed, not buried in greenery, but there are more than enough places for walking. There are enough bars, excellent and smiling bartenders everywhere, they make excellent cocktails, if you give a little tip several times, then the service improves significantly, respectively, and the taste of cocktails and the quality of the ingredients of the cocktail itself))). The same attitude of maids and waiters, do not expect a reaction the first time, but from the second third, improvements are immediately noticeable in both cleaning and service. Tipping is loved everywhere, but Cuba is not a rich country, and tourism is almost the main income of the local population, so this is quite expected. With the right approach, we got excellent service and excellent cocktails. The food is varied, but the Cubans do not know how to cook meat, except on the grill. We ate only at the restaurant on the beach. Here we just ate delicious meat straight from the fire, or huge juicy shrimp. Seafood, which I'm just crazy about, was always enough in the main restaurant. We only went to breakfast a couple of times, because we often returned to the hotel closer to the morning. As a result, our "breakfasts" were held at lunchtime in a beach restaurant))). There is also a snack bar in the hotel, which is open around the clock. There you could drink a cocktail and have a snack with some fast food. I can only say one thing about the rooms, you should not pay anything extra at the hotel, since the rooms in all buildings are almost the same and in the end you will get the same room, but with a surcharge. Cleaning is so-so, we did not go to the balcony, but the towels were changed regularly, and bottled water was in the room daily. Periodically, something broke or leaked, but after a call to the reception, it was greased, glued, and thanks for that. If you do not find fault with trifles, and do not sit in the room, then you will have a rest, at least, chic!! !
