Even though the country was lost somewhere in the 50-60s, and blows like a scoop throughout its territory, the service is at a good level, even if you press on a tip, and if you don’t skimp, you can get VIP service for a penny. We arrived early, immediately at the reception they gave 10 euros (by the way, I advise you to take euros to Cuba, it will be more profitable when exchanging) and we got a room right away, and even with an ocean view. Don't forget to smile. In some cases, you can get more for it than for money)). Room on the 5th floor, spacious, naturally not new, this is also expected, but for a present from the homeland in the form of tights, chocolates of ordinary felt-tip pens, our room was almost perfectly clean. After we met our maid Raquel, and left her tips several times, we became almost best friends). Also, the hotel is well monitored to ensure that there are no insects in the territory and in the room. Not a single mosquito or insect bit us. Our new friend immediately changed the bedding for us to a new and clean one, brought fresh towels, so we rested comfortably. And the cost of the hotel on the first line, and even in Varadero, came out very pleasant. A few words on nutrition. You can eat in the restaurants of both hotels. There are some shortcomings in terms of queues and a slight lack of dishes, but if you contact the waiter, they will pick up a comfortable table, bring drinks, and always have clean cutlery. We chose a certain time, half an hour later, after opening, and there are no longer queues, and the choice of dishes remains the same. So do not rush to the opening and stand with everyone in the flea market. Plus, the hotel is not expensive, and the contingent is mostly our compatriots, so you can draw your own conclusion about where the queues come from )). You can also dine at à la carte restaurants, but you should book in advance, and time is also limited. My husband and I, again for a smile, and not without the ubiquitous banknote of Cuba, agreed, and we had a table in the restaurant almost every evening. Thus, both time and nerves were saved. It was possible to have a bite of good fast food by the pool, in the main restaurant the choice is not large, but meat, poultry and fish were present every day. There are not many fruits, more vegetables, but they recharged with vitamins)). Again, the alcohol in the hotel is of high quality, and if anything, you can buy almost everything from the bartenders, an order of magnitude cheaper than in stores. The main thing is that we got the pleasure from the ocean and the sun that we planned to get in full, and even more.
