I am not very good at claiming 2.3 or 5 stars, although I have lived in different countries and in hotels of different stars. It was good here. In general, Varadero is good. Huge Ocean, half empty beach, crystal clear, warm water. The hotel is on one of the streets of the town, the buildings are quite scattered. We changed 3 until we found what we needed : )) As a result, we got to the farthest - 32nd, it's quiet there. In other places you can hear the disco, though the sound after 23h is turned off very disciplined. The buildings are not new, but some have been recently renovated. The food was good, there was a choice. Minus one - local mosquitoes, who wanted to crap at our fumitox and theirs mazilka. Saved only by air conditioning, but they have it very loud, take earplugs : )). The staff is friendly, learn a couple of greetings in Spanish "Hola! " and "Buenas dias", as well as "gracias" - thank you, smile and don't walk with "cara dura" (a brick face - in our opinion), let's tip 1-2 $ or Euro, and you will be loved even more : )) , the people are not rich, why not share. But in general, "I still have Cuban sand in my boots. " . . Anyone who has seen this video will understand. But it's better to get the impressions directly. Ah, here's something else. At the airport, alcohol and cigars are 10-20 percent cheaper than in shops on Varadero, so it’s better to stock up home there. I recommend Legendario rum for women. Very tasty, sweet and soft, my girlfriends really liked it : )).
