So we visited here for the first time this year and now we will become its regular guests. We prepared for a long time, read about the country and customs, what is better to take and what to bring from there. We chose a hotel that was not the most expensive, what awaits us was approximately expected, and in reality it turned out not to be so scary. A small group of people went from our plane to the hotel, flew from the annex with azur, the flight went well, but still such a long distance is exhausting. The hotel was already in 25 minutes, just around 7 am. The bracelets were not given to us immediately, but they sent us for breakfast without delay. Immediately after breakfast, we were given cards from the room, and we went to sort out our things. The room was originally booked in the main building, not in the bungalow. We knew that the bungalows are further from the beach, and the rooms themselves are worse. I advise you to book the North building, this is the name of the main building, the bungalow is South. We planned many trips around Cuba and certainly explored Varadero itself. So the hotel was chosen exclusively in the resort of Varadero itself, but not in the very center, so that the beach would be cleaner and there would be fewer people. Our travel agent knew all the nuances and suggested this moment, and not only. But most importantly, fast and high-quality service, and even you could contact him at any time already on vacation on any issue, he always helped us. Yes, the room is not new, but if you do not skimp on tips, then both water and bath accessories will be replenished. Housekeeping immediately improved dramatically, and a few cookies at the bar turned the drinks into a VIP level. The coffee was simply outstanding. There you can also buy excellent rum from the bartenders at a price lower than even in duty free. The food is normal, the choice is large, but try not to try those dishes that you are not used to, then there will be no surprises with the stomach. We most often ate from the grill, the fish was especially delicious, awesome. It's not the season for fruits yet, but pineapples are very good, always delicious ice cream and yogurt. The service is a little worse, due to the poverty of the general population, tips are always welcome. Internet only hourly by cards. The most unique thing is the beach. Once a week it is reseeded, they try to keep it clean, they clean it once exactly, in the evening, we saw for ourselves how several guys collect garbage and fold the sunbeds. In the morning they stand already arranged. I don’t see the point in talking about excursions, everyone will choose for themselves what they want to see the most, but Havana is definitely worth a visit. It is advisable to take mosquito repellent with you, it will come in handy. From Cuba and the ocean under a pleasant impression to this day.
