The beach was quite spacious on cool but clear days, but it was quite comfortable for us! On nutrition, my opinion is that you can eat their food, but the cost is clearly overpriced. The food is mostly simple. And there is not much to choose from, as there are no restaurants in the area. We went to thermal springs, visited the orchid festival - the children were delighted. I was impressed by the show program about holding a maritime festival with them. It was interesting, in a word. We visited the sights, everything is beautiful there!

For comparison, we were in Dadonghai Bay (it is dirty and noisy there, but cheap) and in Sanya Bay (more or less decently there), but we have not seen such beauty, such calmness anywhere else. If you like an active and cheap holiday, then Yalong Bay is not for you. 4. Nature, weather. In the company Epos-Tour, where we purchased tickets, we were warned that in June there will be monsoons (rains) in Hainan. But for all the time of our vacation there was heat, exhausting. and the air temperature warmed up to 35 degrees, the water in the pools was hot, in the sea it was cooler, the sand in the daytime was so hot that it burned the legs and it was impossible to walk on it without slippers. The humidity there is almost 100%, all the time it feels like you are in a sauna, the clothes are always wet, they do not dry out. From 11 to 16 hours without an umbrella and cream, you can literally burn out under the rays of the scorching sun, in 5 minutes. Therefore, we went to sunbathe before 11 and after 16 hours. Even if it is cloudy, you can still burn out very quickly. Therefore, I recommend taking an umbrella and sunscreen with you. We saw rain and thunderstorms there only on the day of our departure. The nature there is wonderful, the cleanest air, blue sky, palm trees, and of various types, ever-blooming trees and shrubs, fragrant flowers, mango trees, breadfruit. Outside of the hotels, on tours, we saw huge banana fields, papaya harvesting, and rice fields and much more. 5. Hotel Marriott, its territory and service. Corresponds to 5 stars! Walking along the Yalunwan Bay, and visiting the hotels located along the coastline, we were convinced that the Marriott Hotel is the most beautiful. The photos of the hotel that can be found on the sites are real photos, everything is without deception, it really is. When you enter the hotel lobby, your eyes immediately rush to the terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the sea. The garden located around the hotel is very well maintained, gardeners are constantly working. who cut something there, clean it, etc. There is a two-level pool on the territory of the hotel, it is winding, you can swim on it for a very long time, find some secluded place, retire, and enjoy this solitude. No one is there and no one interferes. There is a bar by the pool, they give towels for free, there is a volleyball net, a basketball basket, they also teach diving. The hotel is located on the 1st coastline. There are a lot of sunbeds on the beach, they are almost always empty, despite the fact that there are a lot of tourists in the hotel. Towels are provided free of charge, it is not necessary to hand them over, you can leave them on the sunbeds, then the hotel employees will pick them up. You can take badminton, football or volleyball for free, but you can only buy frisbee, dress circles. The sand on the beach is white, you can see small crabs that pull out minks there and hide in them, the sea is very warm, the waves are small, you can swim. a yellow flag was almost always hung. Sometimes they put up a sign with a warning about the invasion of jellyfish, but we never saw them there, so we swam calmly. At night, swimming is allowed only in the pool. The room has a kettle, a safe, a refrigerator, a TV (there is a Russian channel), a table, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, an umbrella, rubber slippers for the beach, and soft white cozy house slippers. the bathroom is combined (bath, shower, toilet, sink). There is shampoo, shower gel, razor, nail file - and all this is added or changed as you use it. 7. Nutrition. Excellent. Morning buffet. I must say that it is very diverse. Every day we ate something new. Delicious pastries, freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruits, friendly service. Breakfast starts at 7 am and ends at 10:30 am. We paid for evening meals in advance, when booking a tour, so we had the so-called Hawboard menu. There are only three restaurants on the territory of the hotel: Chinese, Japanese and European. We ate every day in one or the other. Overeated. The food is very tasty, we also ordered unusual dishes, such as we will not try in Russia, and we really liked them. The restaurants are chic, the decoration is awesome, many of our restaurants have not yet reached this level. If dinner is not paid for in advance, then I advise you to stock up on money for food within the hotel at the rate of 2500 rubles per person. But it's worth it, and besides, it's safe. If you want to eat cheaper, but without a guarantee of safety, then on the territory of the Plaza Hotel (4 stars) there are 12 restaurants, in our opinion, of dubious cuisine. We went there twice for lunch, to eat, the first time we were fed in dirty dishes. The waiters didn't care about us. Service is terrible. Think before you go there. Zombies what you need! I do not recommend Safari Park. There are emaciated, skinny and hungry animals that cause not delight, but regret. Horror is simple! 10. Tourists staying at the hotel. Basically - the Chinese (a lot and not for long), Americans, Germans, French (a little and not for long), Russians (a little and for a long time). Everyone is very cultured. 11. Beauty salon at the hotel. This is a heavenly place. We went for a body and facial massage, expensive but worth it. There is no such thing in Russia! I recommend. 12. Gym. Great. In general, we really liked it, the hotel corresponds to the declared level, I recommend choosing the Marriott 5 * hotel if you want to have a good rest on about. Hainan.

Even I, an advanced traveler, could not fight off annoying tourist groups. But, I can try to give a tip: normal regular buses leave the parking lot directly to the left of the station, while the tour group bus was somewhere in the back of the block. It is elementary to leave Shilin back, no one will invite you anywhere. The bus costs a little over 20 yuan. Shilin means "Stone Forest". The name is completely true. Scattered over a fairly large area are low, pointed rocks protruding upwards like giant knives. These rocks were formed under the influence of wind and time, and they were once the bottom of the sea. I can't say that Shilin was the most interesting or beautiful place I've been in China, but one of the most unusual - without a doubt. These rocks are sometimes poked very close, so close that you can barely crawl between them, and sometimes far enough, and the space between them is sown with emerald grass. In general, Shilin is quite a tourist place, and at the very beginning of the forest crowds of people really walk, but the most relish of Shilin lies in the ability to get away from people somewhere in the depths and either wander between the rocks, or contemplate their reflections in small ponds, or climb some of them, admiring the view. Some rocks have beautiful poetic names, while some of them amaze the imagination with their unusualness. Sometimes views are so unearthly that it is impossible to believe in the natural way of creating such forms. Here you can wander as long as you like, and you will never be bored, you will never find the same rocks. I am very glad that I visited such an amazing place, and I advise everyone to do the same.

Apparently, the Chinese believe that it is very hot at lunchtime and you don’t feel like eating at all, you can just have a light snack with a sandwich. At least no soups to be found. A normal lunch can be obtained if a buffet is arranged in a closed restaurant, but this happened, for some reason, not every day (very strange).
The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and chic. The beach and pools are clean and comfortable. It is also very suitable with children, but in the event that the children are omnivores (my eight-year-old daughter wanted simple homemade food, but here we can’t even find normal chicken broth, of course, in our understanding).
