O. Hainan was recommended to us by friends who spent the New Year there. We ourselves have heard about this place more than once, and after positive feedback from friends, we also decided to try this place.
We arrived on the island in the afternoon. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the heat typical of tropical countries. But, in comparison with Thailand, the heat here was different: not so hot and humid, you can breathe and feel fresh at times.
At the exit, we were met by a Chinese guide Daniel "Pearl River" (host company). We expected that it would be like in jokes, such as "my yours to know", felted fox", "holoso-holoso". But, fortunately, everything turned out to be the opposite. The guy spoke Russian very well, understood us and even the sound "p" uttered)) He escorted us to our transfer and told information about Hainan along the way. Fortunately, the road was free (there were few cars), so we arrived at the hotel very quickly.
We stayed at the Hua Yu Resort in Yalong Bay. Very calming environment, lots of plants around. Although the regular staff spoke poor English, this was made up for by their willingness to please us in every way. Our room was standard with a large bed. The room has a standard set of amenities (bathroom, TV with Russian channels, air conditioning, balcony). The hotel has an intercontinental breakfast, nothing stands out. But near the hotel there are restaurants, both Chinese and European. Chinese cuisine is, to put it mildly, very specific. I love spicy food, but then I was given to understand that I'm just a beginner in the spicy cuisine. After one dish, where basically it was only pepper and meat, I felt like Gorynych . . ) Then we were recommended sweet and sour dishes and we liked them. All meals are reasonably priced.
On the 2nd day of rest, we found the Jade Dragon healing spa on site. We went there out of curiosity. We were hospitably greeted, given tea to drink, pulses were felt. They said it was Chinese medicine. Finally, the muscles were well stretched for us, wow))
We were taken to the sea on an electric bag for 10-15 minutes. The sea and the beach are wonderful, nothing to say. And it's clean, and there are few people, and a good tan is obtained. There are all kinds of entertainment (water bike, boats, diving, etc. ). If you wish, you can fly kites in the evening. Very beautiful and big snakes are made in China!
We were very pleased with our trip to the Chinese tropics. So I recommend everyone to go.
Very beautiful green area. Yes, the beach is small, it’s true. But you don’t need to carry towels with you anywhere.
The only minus of Yalunvan is guys, take a lot of money with you. It’s not Thai here, you’ll have to spend so much on one meal...........It’s a long way to go to Sanya, 30 minutes by taxi, we went only once out of curiosity, everything is cheap there. The first time we poked ourselves into a cafe for dinner - we didn’t eat anything, we left 270 yuan (multiply by 5 - you get it in rubles). If so every day. this is how much you need.......Then we found the perfect option - very tasty, 120-150 yuan goes for dinner for two - on the 2nd floor there is a restaurant where there are red lights. There we were so happy for the whole vacation that they even allowed us to bring our own alcohol - we’ll buy Bacardi for 100 yuan in the super store and go there with it!
In general, it worked out great, I advise everyone.
The sea was not always pleasing, the beach is gorgeous, of course, white sand, but the sea is sometimes dirty, there is nothing swimming in it, but it was not always when it was clean - generally super, the sea is warm... warm, the waves even pleased. In early May it is already very hot here - 35-40 degrees, it was hot and sunny for two weeks, there were sometimes clouds, but without rain.
In general, the hotel is very quiet and beautiful, we really liked it here, we are not fans of animation, dancing near the pool, so this place is definitely ours and we will try to come here again!
The hotel is designed like a Chinese palace.
Very beautiful area: a sea of flowers, palm trees, ponds with beautiful bridges, fountains, beautiful oriental gazebos.
The hotel is located on the 2nd line. It takes 3 minutes to go to the sea, you can take an electric car. The hotel has its own beach, sunbeds and towels are free. A lifeguard runs with a horn and a whistle : ))
The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of choices. Very helpful staff. Every day they bring the weather forecast for tomorrow to the room : )) Our Delux room was just awesome and very cozy : ))
On the territory of the hotel there are many shops, restaurants with different cuisines: European, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, French : )). There are also cafes, bars, a night club, in the evenings - live music.
It's also nice that the hotel has all the menus, brochures and any announcements in Russian!
In general, I am completely delighted with both the hotel and Hainan in general !!! !
